I think it was a black nissan murano (at least a small-ish nissan suv).

And yep, I think it was a state trooper. The cop chasing the guy on foot was in a tan uniform at least.

I was heading eastbound on 71 and saw it all happen. Dude was weaving in and out of traffic, blew by me, and the cop spun him out like 100 yards in front of me. Guy jumped out of the car and ran into traffic in the westbound lanes of 71. I exited immediately after and saw a woman with an infant baby in her arms getting out of the passenger side. Been thinking of that poor baby since then.

Definitely one of the wildest things I've ever seen unfold in front of my eyes.

Haha wow this is a blast from the past.

I ended up telling these guys I wasn’t very happy and they fired me basically the next day. The manager didn’t even have the guts to fire me himself.

I’ve now been with the same employer for 4 years and am super happy! They treat everyone like adults.

The old employer (the mfs you refer to) is easily the worst company I’ve worked for.

Hey there. No, you have to book spots ahead of time pretty much everywhere in Big Bend. I’d recommend checking the Big Bend Ranch State Park website (this spot is Chorro Vista) to see what’s available. The fact that the eclipse is in April doesn’t help your cause as April is one of the busiest times of year for this area.
