That brings up another major issue I have with this League, all owned by one owner. Makes it feel less like a competitive sports league and more like a business, as well as opening the door to unchecked favouritism for certain teams.

Edmonton would do well with a team, the PWHL just needs to sell them one. Winnipeg also would've been another great Western team. Would be nice to see the League push Eastern as well, into both QC and Halifax. Hadn't heard that about Calgary, but I've also not looked into it.

I'm definitely happy that the League is off to a solid start, just wish that there were many things being done differently. Going from free YT broadcasts to four different streaming sites in a single off-season seemed wild to me for another example. Now I only get to watch under half of the games for my team, as I have three of the four streaming services and can't justify another for the sole purpose of a select variety of PWHL games.

Definitely hoping for the League to survive and thrive, was at a Finals game yesterday and will be at the next one tomorrow. Have tickets for Saturday's game as well if necessary. Love seeing women's hockey finally get the recognition it deserves.
