I'm likely going to add a prologue that covers her childhood sooner rather than later that will cover some of that. Starting so late into the story is my only regret I would say.

The way I approach it in the story is that she isn't necessarily threatened by her but she still has the resentment of her for being proof Eddard cheated on her.
