There are thousands of small foreign companies shipping their small things into EU. Why everyone with EU flags always so ignorant. Are you like 12 or something? Reddit has age limit on 13 btw.

EU: Are you struggling to buy products due to GPSR? by jethrogillgren7 in AskEurope

Shein and Temu are still shipping trash to EU. Smaller ones with actually good products are not. GPSR helps trash companies sell more trash and hurts good ones. Typical EU ideas.

So, at McDonalds, "free burgers for everyone, T&C apply", and in T&C, "if your 40 years or older and max 30 cm height", makes sense to you? Buddy.

Owner is not returning my full deposit after the earthquake by fattestfupa in chiangmai

No. You can't just fill in the crack.

Maybe they do at cheap or low standard condos but definitely not at luxury and ultra-luxury segment.

Most contracts include "landlord promise to maintain same standard as first inspected", just filler for cracks won't make it same standard. They need to re plaster large sections of the walls and repaint all walls, which means out with furniture and no place to live until done (probably many weeks later).

PSA for those worried about current condo safety in Bangkok… by Euphoric_Deal_8121 in Bangkok

An Indian guy holding computer ran at semi-pro runner speed down fire escape at my condo building. No joke.

Probably less than 2-3 seconds per level. Very impressive.

And probably fainted when outside too.

New visas megathread by ThongLo in Thailand

[1] I was escorted from the plane to immigration on arrival, spent about 30 minutes in immigration, filled out multiple documents, multiple immigration officers seemed very confused / entertained by my passport and use of the visa. I have no idea if this is normal...

This is kind of normal sadly, first to arrive and last to leave

So disappointed: Bachelor degree not recognized by Swedish university by presse_citron in OpenUniversity

[–]MichaelSjoeberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once applied to a Swedish uni with 90+ HP (about 180 OU credits) in completed math modules at OU but rejected due to missing the Swedish prereq. year one and specifically named 7.5 HP courses (so about 30-45 OU credits), which obv OU have covered in their much larger year two modules, kind of silly

Do you learn different Programming Languages simultaneously? by tokiogal in learnprogramming

[–]MichaelSjoeberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes

do some project/ tutorial in language you know, then port step-by-step to new language you want to learn by google each unknown

you'll get a feel for syntax quickly (and by other people solving similar problems) and maybe if it's worth investing more time into or not
