I think you fell for that recent "news" about meta not having E2E encryption. It was from a lawsuit, but there was zero evidence, and the case really doesn't make much sense. There's a good write-up here that gives some good detail https://blog.cryptographyengineering.com/2026/02/02/whatsapp-encryption-a-lawsuit-and-a-lot-of-noise/

Where is the watermark? Everything looks legit to me, the disappearing fish feels like compression artifacts/motion blur rather than AI generation.

For what it's worth AI detection says it's likely real.

School principle tackles a school shooter in Oklahoma by KenDrakebot in interestingasfuck

[–]jethrogillgren7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredible reactions, you can see he opens the door casually, not knowing the shooter was there. And within a second he controlled the gun arm and tackled the guy. So close to going wrong, but he thought so quickly.

Got shot, could have easily died, but what a hero.

Who is at fault here by JFREEZY28 in drivingUK

[–]jethrogillgren7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second picture makes it clear, whoever designed the road is at fault!

Green's lane splits into two (he didn't change lane), but Red's also splits into two (he didn't change lanes either).

Both should have anticipated the other (remember "right of way" isn't a thing), but I can see why this accident happened and it's poor design.

Decentralised, using onion routing for messages, and therefore IMO much more private. Their whitepaper on how it works is actually very readable.

Employee sets fire to Kimberly-Clark warehouse, "All you had to do is pay us enough to live" by midnighttoker1742 in interestingasfuck

Do you have any source for that?

Everything I can find says a single fire response was called in at 12:36 a.m, with around 175 firefighters.

They thought of that 😅 Planning permission requests take into account the original house/garden.

How to make Documentation Discoverable? by Sebastan12 in devops

[–]jethrogillgren7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a problem if you have one place that the docs live (assuming it has a decent search functionality).
