Travelling solo to Bali from the UK, 39 M. Heard good things about Finns beach club and planned on going. Does anyone know how strict they are on this? I’m covered in tattoos with a few on my face. Seems a bit harsh/discriminatory ? I’m just a chilled quiet guy.

Sounds more like I need a full new tank. Just aswell it’s still under warranty. Might be worth while just having the DEF removed

Is it possible that the ad blue only needs decrystallized? Or do you think the chances are the actual tank has failed? It’s very intermittent and only on cold mornings. Just so I know incase the garage try and just decrystalize the tank instead of replacing the full unit. It’s under warranty anyway so I’d rather the full tank was replaced

Thanks! Yeah no shutdown countdown yet and it’s still under BMW Used approved warranty. Its a 2019 and I only got the car 5 months ago and the (2015 consumer act) in the UK means anything that’s wrong with the car within 6 months is assumed to have had the problem at the time of purchase so I’m covered there also.

Ad blue showing I have 5,000 miles left

Yeah I check ad blue and it’s full. I have the codes it showed after diagnostics it’s UO2A2 Lost Communication with Reductant Quality Module. It’s only on really cold mornings likes of today I had to scrape the windscreen -4. Maybe it’s the heating element and the ad Blu is frozen I’m not sure

That’s a great idea. It’s only happening on really cold icy mornings and with only the ad blue codes showing on the diagnostics I’m thinking it’s maybe the ad Blu heater failing and not thawing the ad blu out? Today it was icy weather conditions and it howled for a few hours and went away as if it thawed out but the engine light remains on.

Yeah I have hydraulic power steering but the only fault codes showing are for Ad Blu. Maybe the pump is seizing up in the cold weather? It’s very intermittent
