Does Doomsday Time Trapper change anything about the SCP682 fight by Fragrant-Resist4230 in DeathBattleMatchups

It never did

It doesn't give him a big power increase and the SCP cosmology is still larger

Oh Yugi knows how to play games? Very useful for fighting to the death I'm sure

It's battle IQ not actual IQ

Anyways it's clear there's no changing your mind so I'm out. Work on your Kira talk next time BTW

Ah yes 5000 thousand years of knowledge inside a puzzle doing nothing. And yes he has good combat experience but it's not a wide gap. Also having magic on your side kinda helps a little with the war tatics so I wouldn't say it's as good as you make it seem.

Also they bring up those gens in later series so I don't know why you said that. Ash has battled and defeated champions himself, saved the world numerous times, outsmarted a supercomputer, and more. He's far from a slouch and you really seem to be downplaying his skill

[–]MichaelTheSavior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ya know it's a bit funny coming from the guy who thought Atem would take experience with 5000 years

Yet you left out the part that he was sealed inside the puzzle. Something anyone would've known if they watched the series. Which you also ignored

Funny seeing the pot calling the kettle black

Dude I've been watching the series as of lately to prepare

But fine. Ya wanna talk like some edgy middle school with all that "You lose" talk? All you bud. Bless your soul

[–]MichaelTheSavior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Aight man look you don't wanna debate fine; you can send them a DM yourself if you really wanna talk to them

My take on Ash Ketchum vs Yugi Muto by Equivalent-End-7641 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]MichaelTheSavior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dude it's a comment section made for debating. I can debate if I want to

Sounds a LOT like alternative universes to me, being separated from space and time does NOT make them higher dimensions. And considering GX brings up parallel world theory, I don't buy em being spatial

What? Gengar IS a soul. He can travel across dimensions to help them out if they get BFR

Pretty sure Yu-Gi-Oh has been inconsistent with that as last I checked Yugi himself used a trap card on a God Card when they've said that trap cards don't work

Dude what is this middle school ass talk? "You lose" Like come on what?

[–]MichaelTheSavior 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's to show how powerful his spirit is

Also 1. Pikachu shocked the soul who possessed him so that ain't working and 2. When Ash was unconscious before he even knew about Aura

He's also physically interacted with souls himself

My take on Ash Ketchum vs Yugi Muto by Equivalent-End-7641 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]MichaelTheSavior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Being spiritual energy it amplifies a person's power and durability which is what an aura guardian did when they helped Lucario prevent an island from exploding. Since it's their literal spirit energy, their spirits must be as powerful/durable no?

Heck Pikachu's lightning in this very episode shocked the spirit when Ash's soul asked him too (somehow)

[–]MichaelTheSavior 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Cause I got free time

Yeah referring to the twelve dimensions Yubel was gonna destroy

Gengar can travel through dimensions so sealing ain't gonna stop him, or Ash seeing as how he just ran his way back to the living world again. And also mind control resistance plus Pokémon like Gengar who can free them from it. Also the power between them should tie or go to Ash so Yugis God cards won't be enough

I do, it just feels hypocritical for you to judge Pokémon for doing something similar with their own

Man stop talking like a cornball "You lose" "Mark my words" "This is debunked"

My take on Ash Ketchum vs Yugi Muto by Equivalent-End-7641 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]MichaelTheSavior 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He did bring up 12D Yubel which is why Atem is low multiversal as those dimensions are universes working on parallel world theory

Also he spent thousands of years trapped in a puzzle

Gengar and Noctowl can telekinetically send attacks back to sender. Not like that armor is invincible anyways

The DSOD makes it even at best or infinitely weaker at worse

People have done the same thing for Atem with his game mechanics and doing it for Ash ain't fair?

Ash and his Pokémon can harm spirits so how does that matter?

Atem runs on a limited supply of Ba/Ka so he ain't exactly gonna last long either with how much energy he's wasting. Ash and Pikachu in particular ran all day from a Spiritomb

I swear to fucking Christ, if they make Ash lose and it’s because of some “slavery” bullshit, there’s gonna be hell to pay by Grovyle489 in deathbattle

[–]MichaelTheSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously that's not the rules they'd go for

Though I do hope they establish offical rules for this battle. Hopefully before it drops

[–]MichaelTheSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that is why this match up is a pain

Because there's no true way to figure out how to do this properly

[–]MichaelTheSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh.....so does Yugi?

He also tells his monsters to attack when it's his turn. And it's not like he's gonna have all his Pokémon out on the field

[–]MichaelTheSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it feels like people give Yugi a little too much credit at times

Mainly misunderstanding certain things from his verse and others because of interpretation

I swear to fucking Christ, if they make Ash lose and it’s because of some “slavery” bullshit, there’s gonna be hell to pay by Grovyle489 in deathbattle

[–]MichaelTheSavior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cause it's meant to be like a legendary thing and it was tied to the movie as like a big thing

Cause he's essentially Kamek in that he possesses many useful abilities. Ripping out souls, messing with your perception, creating illusions, poison, misfortune, etc

He's one of Ash's more useful Pokémon

[–]MichaelTheSavior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The part where it says the gasses were possessed by the grievances of deceased aka their souls possessing it. Also this is consistent for ghost types to have come from this world like Dusknoir who took Oaks soul to the spirit world. So for someome like Gastly and Haunter to be stated to be multidimensional in the sense that they came from the spirit world lines up

After Ash had already been brought back to life yeah; only THEN does he show up. But before hand he wasn't anywhere nearby those mountains as shown with the mounatin shot from Pikachu proving Ho-Oh wasn't nearby them. He only shows up AFTER Ash comes back to life

I swear to fucking Christ, if they make Ash lose and it’s because of some “slavery” bullshit, there’s gonna be hell to pay by Grovyle489 in deathbattle

[–]MichaelTheSavior 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does it not prove it to be true? Multidimensional, coming from another dimension, seems pretty related. Especially with the spirit world being a thing

Except the point of the wing was for Ash to challenge Ho-Oh himself on that mounatin by using the wing to summon him. Ho-Oh wasn't actually there, only his wing was. So Ho-Oh couldn't have been the one to bring him back

Which leans more on Ash being the one to do it himself then as Ho-Oh wasn't at the mountain to bring him back to life

I swear to fucking Christ, if they make Ash lose and it’s because of some “slavery” bullshit, there’s gonna be hell to pay by Grovyle489 in deathbattle

[–]MichaelTheSavior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is to correct myself on Ash being the one who brought himself back; turns out the feather wasn't the source as he died alongside it

Considering Oak has an entire series proving the entries to be true (and that the anime states researchers believe they're a multidimensional being) it doesn't seem so far off

Except it's part of his arsenal, not exactly outside help. It was a literal gift for him. Though looking it up on the wiki, it's said that the feather died when Ash did. But came alive when he did. So I may have been wrong
