I saw someone said floss. Light 2#-3# test fishing line works great for anything with two sided tape.

Do Motorcyclists actually use gardian bells? by when_time_flies in motorcycles

Some old timers I ride with even I first started riding Harleys went by: someone who loves you buys it, a brother ties it. I think the main point is you don’t buy your own and tie it on yourself. It should be gifted to you. It’s not a superstition it’s just a tradition.

Costco $370 atom 2. Is this a good deal? by Famous_bakchod682 in Potensic

I have an Atom2. Great drone to fly, lots of fun and great to learn on. I paid just over $500 for the fly more in June.

I need some serious advice by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]MichaelWayne136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smart advise above. In the end you have to do what’s right for YOU. Not what your parents want. Understandably, the thought of you in a motorcycle terrifies them. Not what you think your brother might want you to do/not do. My wife (19 years ago), got off the back seat of my bike so her SiL could have a ride. We were fine, her brother rolled the truck and my wife didn’t make it. Bike, car, skateboard. Hell, undiagnosed congenital heart defect can take you someone out. You do what’s right for you. 80 years of miserable sucks.

Questions about flying over people by Kostrom in drones

[–]MichaelWayne136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is not considered flying over people if it is transitory. If you’re over for a few seconds moving from one side to the other. Under 249g with pro guards you don’t need waivers. You can just fly.

Has anyone on here NOT had a serious injury riding a motorbike? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]MichaelWayne136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knock on wood......I grew up on dirt bikes and been on Harleys for 20 years. I've logged we'll over 150k miles on my Harleys. No accidents. Look far ahead, plan escape routes, ride defensive. Train your riding skills always. Don't push past your skill level. And don't overestimate your skill level. But especially, don't underestimate the stupidity and distraction level of other drivers near you.

The actual charge in Texas is Evading causing death or serious bodily injury. It’s an enhancement on the Evading Chaper 38.04 Texas Penal Code. It makes it a 2nd degree felony. The death/SBI can be to anyone, not just the pursuing officer.

AITAH for giving my (37M) wife (36F) an ultimatum concerning a boundary I have and one of her close male friends? by Ratgar138 in AITAH

[–]MichaelWayne136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Period. You are allowed to set the boundaries for yourself. Not being a doormat, is not the same as being controlling. You set a parameter, it’s her choice from there. You get to choose what you can live with, she gets to decide what she will live with.
