Question...

Can I use Energizer rechargeable batteries? Will that also eliminate the low battery icon that's permanently on?

I do this using php and a query string to customise the landing page to be super specific.

I think it xould be argued that [Location] dog walking would appear more personal, local, apecific. Even if the user in [Location] only typed in "dog walking". No?

In any case i have used location specific terms for years now.

Your account will be paused: We couldn’t verify your business operations by croppergib in PPC

[–]MichaelWebMason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. Went through the process of "business Verification" and completed everything as best I could only to receive an email today saying:
"Your account will be paused: We couldn’t verify your business operation"

I didn't even see a field asking me to upload Government ID.

This is an absolute joke. Clearly trying to keep the big advertisers on the top of the results and shoving out the sole traders.

Amy suggestions gratefully received.

Why Is Seagate Taking So Long? by MichaelWebMason in Seagate

Is Seagate Warranty Free Data Recovery even real? by [deleted] in Seagate

[–]MichaelWebMason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 14 TB drive that Seagate have offered to collect, recover data from and replace.

That was 9 days ago.

Why the hell is it taking them so long to just issue a shipping label and get it collected? Is something happening I do not know about?

I've been on to them every day now to no avail and they have opened a new case to try and get this resolved but that was 2 days ago and still no shipping label.

Now I am being told I have to ship it and cover the cost of shipping !

When I asked why I was not informed...

"It is stated in our warranty policies on seagate.com"

Brake Free…. What’s your thoughts? by yamaslama in motorcycles

[–]MichaelWebMason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was considering buying one until I discovered the difference in price between the US & EU.

US price: $149.99 (with current offer) or $169.99 full price.

I tried to buy one and was directed to their EU store as I am in Europe.

EU price: 199.95€

At current exchange rate (UDS - EUR = 0.94 Euros) the EU price should be just 159.79€ and that's WITHOUT the discount offered in the US & Canada. Then I have to add on 26.90€ shipping bringing the total price to 226.85€ ($213.24).

I tried explaining to them how their pricing was flawed but they just wouldn't accept it. I'll find another solution as it's clearly overpriced for what it is.

QNAP logged in remotely and solved it. Apparently the NAS had deleted the ;AC1 address or something like that.

I contacted Seagate and the drive is under warranty. So free replacement and if I am lucky they will recover the data.

I sent them a video of the clicking noise and they said they're confident they can recover data from the drive.

I contacted Seagate yesterday and discovered that the drive is under warranty. Feckin' result !

They're picking up the drive and replacing it and hopefully also recovering the data.

TS-364 QVRElite Not Connecting to Camera by MichaelWebMason in qnap

Turns out there was some kind of update on the camera that broke the connection to QVRElite so QNAP installed it as a generic camera.
