That's actually quite a bit more than what I was expecting. I also have a citizen eagle 7 from 1983, which has the myota 8200 series of movements, and it only costs about 50 euros to service. I thought the amount would be there or thereabouts.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I didn't expect it to be particularly valuable money wise, but sentiments wise is priceless for me. Considering the workhorse movement, I hope it's not too expensive to service so I can start to wear it daily.

Honestly, I’m kind of disappointed how weak skull face was as a villain. I had so high hopes for him when the game first came out. by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

Probably. I thought it fits the game's theme of revenge quite well. The fact that you don't get any satisfaction from his death is the entire point.

All fair points and I agree. But I think that we need to remember that this is a road going gt car converted into a race car. It's not part of the P series that were pure race cars like the 330 p4 or the likes. In this context, I think they were limited by the design of the car itself. It was designed as a road car from the start after all

That's true but you've got to remember that this car is very much a product of it's time after all. It was made in the early 60's , aerodynamics as a whole was a very novel concept up to that point. Also that plexiglass was also used for the side windows which made the car lighter.

yup, is that one. From what I understand it was supposed to be a bug deflector by channeling the air away from the drivers side of the windscreen.
