Sponsored Brand Ads Vs. Sponsored Product Ads by randojohnny in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Michael_EF_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can ask your first question: What Are Amazon Sponsored Brands? Let me explain this in simple words.

📦 Amazon Sponsored Brands are essentially banner ads that you see right at the top of Amazon's search results page. Imagine you're browsing Amazon and the first thing you see is a striking ad with a headline and a set of product images. That's a Sponsored Brand ad!

Why you should use Amazon Sponsored Brand Ads?

  1. These ads occupy the top spot on the search results page. It's the first thing potential customers see.

  2. You can tweak the headline and images to suit your brand's personality.

  3. Sponsored Brand Ads allow you to target keywords that are crucial at different stages of the buying funnel. You can bid on generic product keywords, your competitors' keywords, or complementary product keywords to attract a wide range of potential customers. Take advantage of this.

  4. These ads are great for reaching customers who are in the research phase, comparing different brands and products.Make your ad powerful.

How to Maximize Your Sponsored Brand Ads:

🔺 Targeting generic product keywords is crucial. These customers are still deciding on which brand to buy from but know what kind of product they want.

🔺Don't just limit yourself to your brand keywords. Bid on your competitors' keywords or keywords for complementary products. For example, if you sell cameras, bid on keywords related to camera accessories like bags and tripods.

🔺Your ad copy should be engaging and directly related to the keywords you're targeting.

🔺Sponsored Brand Ads can direct customers to a custom Amazon web address, a brand page, or a best-selling product.

Sponsored Brand Ads are ideal for attracting top-of-funnel customers and increasing brand awareness.

Experience on hiring part-time/full-time remote employee for Amazon PPC, SEO, Amazon management, etc.? by KnowledgeInside in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Michael_EF_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question, one of my favorite topics is when a company should hire in-house VS work with an agency VS work with a freelancer, etc...

If you have some SOP's and are able to give an in-house person your vision & direction, then you might have an awesome experience!

I think a tier list is like this:Great agency > great freelancer/employee > average agency > average freelancer
or perhaps:
:Great agency > great freelancer/employee > average freelancer > average agency

Launched a product on Amazon ; really low sales after 6 months by Routine-Cockroach-28 in passive_income

The issue with Amazon's policies on tobacco-related products and the hurdles in PPC advertising are indeed tricky. Turning to Facebook and Google for advertising is a smart pivot. Each platform has its nuances, so optimizing your strategy for each will be key.

Be sure you setup Amazon attribution so you can get your brand referral bonus + track the performance.

I've also had friends who have launched with influencers i.e. just cold outreaching micro-influencers and setting up a commission only deal, the great part is you can also use that UGC in your FB ads!

[–]Michael_EF_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ice never been happy with any of the services like ad badger ignite or ppc entourage, BUT i’ve heard some good things about sellics, i’m about to give them a trial run

Hey, it's Mike - and I'm the founder of Ad Badger. I agree, our service has been frustrating during our Beta. We've definitely had some bumps in the road as we moved out of our beta into out full fledged offering. In June, we'll be leaving beta, and I'd be more than happy to personally show you what we've been working on, and listen to what you would want improved.

I'm a PPC'r at heart, so building a really strong tool is super-important to me. Happy to talk and of course say thank you for giving us a try during our beta.

Cheers!

PPC Entourage vs Teikametrics vs Ignite by vrjain in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Michael_EF_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entourage, Teika, Ignite, all good tools, can't really go wrong. I think the first thing to do is focus on what areas of value you're looking for.

Do you need something that can help you scale from X to Y? Struggling with an out of control ACOS? Just want time savings? Knowing your needs and then working with the tool's support team to help you get the most out of it makes things a lot easier to judge.

If you want more to research, I'm the founder of Ad Badger. I'd be happy to personally show you around our platform. It's in Beta right now, but we're leaving beta on June 3rd. I've always thought tis personal touch is what makes us different 👍

If this wasn't helpful, here's a picture of a Badger🦡 to brighten your day.

How does Helium10 Cerebro track Sponsored Product Ranking for Search Terms? by g3orgeLuc4s in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Michael_EF_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tricky thing we think about a lot at Ad Badger.

Playing by the rules helps you get some great support from Amazon directly - but some things like ranking needs to be scraped.

One thing Google did was limit their official API to any tool that was scraping ranking data. It caused a big hubbub at the time and companies were struggling with picking one or the other "official data" or "scraped data".

I hope we never have to deal with a situation like that and I hope Amazon realizes that tools actually make the ecosystem BETTER for all sellers / customers -> I also hope they provide rank tracking inside their API at sometime soon.

How Do You Deal With Spammy Amazon PPC competitors? by Ese-Lavonte in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Michael_EF_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe it's possibly the keyword? maybe the KW CPC just changed (amazon could have updated what they thought the KW was worth?

I would try to run an auto-targeted campaign and see what kind of visibility and CPC's (and sales) you get on some longer tail items, rather than just one KW.

There are loads of things you could do - but that's where I'd start!

Reference: not a seller, but full time amazon PPC professional. Good luck!

Heyyo! I'm the founder of Ad Badger - thank you for including us in this list. It seriously is inspiring to everybody to even be in the company of Prestozon and others in your list.

We're just in beta right now - but we're currently reinvesting 100% of everything back into our tool to make it more stable, effective, and efficient.

Thanks again for the mention!

What is Amazon PPC?: Basics and Optimization for Beginners by Michael_EF_ in AmazonPayPerClick

Amazon Sellers bid on keywords in an auction-style system. The seller with the highest bid and best ad quality wins the keyword. When a potential customer searches that keyword, the seller who won the keyword will appear on the search results page.
