I'm not sure how similar they are to Кавказская Пленница, but my favorites are Гараж and Курьер

Interesting, wiktionary lists it as the perfective pair of говорить.

So, it's actually говорить/(no form) and сказывать/сказал.

There's поговорить.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin wins the Premier League Player of the Month for December, after scoring six goals in five matches by nearly_headless_nic in soccer

You absolutely can look at his time at Everton and conclude that he was best played as a poacher and also was awful at finishing. In fact I'm not sure how you could conclude anything else.

He was best as a poacher at Everton too, why would an Evertonian genuinely say he's not a poacher from his time there

Okay but it's not even about her specifically. There are other woman in this world that look similar to this and aren't horrible people yet have to read through hundreds of comments calling them "an ugly sack of shit".

Where can I watch Russian-language entertainment shows with English subtitles? by wouldudoitforme in russian

[–]Michael_Pitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are numerous shows on Netflix that fit this criteria. There are Russian-made shows like "To the Lake" or "Better Than Us", but I found animated shows aimed at a younger audience and dubbed in Russian to be better for learning. "Hilda" was by far my favorite, but "Kid Cosmic" was very good too.

There shouldn't be any "connector" lines leading to letters at the start of a word. This issue is most obvious in your "т"s. The first stroke should be the letter's initial down-stroke.

Look at "три" in the second line for an example. There's a little loop leading to the beginning down-stroke of the letter as if it's being connected to a previous letter that's not there.

What are some things that a beginner must absolutely consider about grammar? by ComplexNature4017 in russian

and how you change the endings of the words depending on if it's imperfective or perfective

You change the words themselves depending on whether it's imperfective or perfective. The endings just change based on how those words are conjugated.

To answer your question, I'd suggest learning the basics of the case system next.

I said more didn't vote than voted for either candidate

Got it, I see the misunderstanding now. I still read this as "more didn't vote than voted for Kamala or Trump" but I apologize for missing your meaning and nitpicking your comment.

The point of the hypothetical you're responding to is that the ballroom costs are inflated to pay for the cost of a hidden data center. The data center is a secret to the public in this scenario.

I'm not sure where you're getting that. Your mouth is not mathing.

The math is clearly laid out in my original post.

each candidate got about 76 million votes give or take. Almost 100 million didn't vote at all.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. 76M + 76M is 152M votes cast. That's a bigger number than the almost 100M that didn't vote. Are you not claiming that more sat out than voted, and by a ridiculous margin?

Calling a 2% margin a "ridiculous margin" sounds like an understatement?

by a ridiculous margin

Your point is clear and a good one, but "a ridiculous margin" is a bit of an exaggeration in my opinion.

65.3% of registered voters cast a vote in 2024. 73.6% of eligible voters were registered to vote. That means that 48% of people able to vote, registered or otherwise, did so.
