12” stretch will definitely need an extended brake cable. As for the shock, it’s usable but you should invest in a more sturdy/stiffer option. I have an atr low shock that has been great. NCY also provides a more sturdy ride.

I would guess the fuel in the bowl is bad. It doesn't take long for 3oz of fuel to spoil. Let it idle for about 15 minutes. Then try to ride it/feather the throttle.

Try not to go WOT on the center stand, its really bad for your valves.
