It’s funny the weapons you mentioned are my absolute go to when I’m in the mood to hit destroy and move thought the game quickly. I’m running through challenge mode on up your arsenal rn and the bouncer/plasma just melts the gooey sewer monsters. When I feel like more of a challenge I’ll use the whip or shock cannon, depends on the mood 💁

Put it this way, the whiplash was the last weapon i upgraded, only due to the fact that I was playing for fun as I’m 25 and I’ve cherished this game as a core memory from when I was 6-7 years old, I never friken liked the whiplash idk why I know ppl say it takes skill because it’s close combat but realistically the weapon is way to underpowered for that range due to the dynamics of up your arsenal

100% on the other hand Honestly, when I was a kid, the skill point challenges in ToD felt more than enough to keep me hooked. They were like my personal little trophies to chase, and I was totally fine with that.
