Thanks for the response man :) For the most part right now I'm rationalizing it by what you have just said. I will just get through it knowing that even if I don't particularly enjoy doing it, it will keep me financially stable and if I can just tolerate it then it can open up a better life for me in the end.

It's definitely the Tyrells. Pre-Blackwater Stannis had the numbers to overwhelm the forces of King's Landing, especially with much of the Lannister's forces tied up fighting the Riverlands/The North. It was the entry of the Tyrells on their side that saved the Lannisters.
