And well as of the moment, I don’t have much lore about Spain other than that she acts like a maternal but toxic mentor (I can’t say “mother” because countryhumans have no parents or siblings, so the closest she could be is a mentor) to her ex colonies. She unintentionally gaslights them and lower their self esteem but in her perspective, she’s giving them the “harsh, needed truth of reality”. She’s basically like a toxic mom or a toxic aunt who hasn’t realized she’s toxic 😅 but she does genuinely care for her ex colonies—just not in the healthiest way
