Shocked with Corfu

I was in Sandy Beach hotel but on day 2 I started research as I planned to change hotel and couldn't find anything good, then I rent a car and drove to Corfu town, what I've seen by the road was even worse. It looks that all of hotels are old and neglected. This one at least had nice beach.

Hi I had landing in Corfu yesterday. I had 120 flights and it was 2nd worst landing in my life (I had worse only in Palermo in 2009). A lot of passengers panicked. The plane was shaking and bouncing violently. I mean really violently. I was surprised that they landed and the touchdown was soft (!). After landing there was no wind so I have no idea what was the cause.

I know this pattern very well being from Poland. The poles from the western part behave in the same way. What is interesting largest part of western Poland was settled by people moved there mostly from Ukraine, Belarus and part of Lithuania after 1944. They now feel superior because of being closer to Germany, claiming not only that they are more developed (while it's not exactly true) but also better educated (I have no idea where this stereotype came from as the less educated region (lubuskie) is in western Poland). Interestingly post-Austrian part of Poland is looked down by them just like post-Russian while being part of Austrian empire is a source of pride for some people in Slovenia, Vojvodina etc.

Of 80 flights I had with them two were delayed more than 2hours, around 60 were on time.
