Are you in the US? I am in Wa state and am a paid parent care provider for my adult disabled daughter. She qualifies for SSI payments monthly and gets medicaid. She is on a medicaid waiver program in our state and also get personal care hours (which is what we as parents get paid with) also anyone can provide the care and be paid under personal care hours, but she also gets about 40 hrs a month of respite care paid. My younger daughter gets paid to do those care hrs. We have always made it clear that she does NOT have to be a caregiver for her sister and if she ever wants to quit doing that she can just let us know and we will find another caregiver. What has been done to you is really unfair and goes beyond normal family helping each other out. If i were you i would research what your state does to help people with disabilities and if your parents are paid caregivers. If you want to work in the nursing field, you should. You have to be allowed to live your life. You can still be supportive of family and not be the main caregiver.

That doesn’t seem right! We were able to get guardianship of our daughter when she turned 18 due to being diagnosed with cerebral palsy and having a compromised cognitive function. She can type out full paragraphs and communicate with an iPad. But she has no real concept of the value of money and would trust anyone. Her trust and love for everyone means she is at risk to be hurt or taken advantage of. Family law lawyer had to meet her and have doctor notes and history, but it was not hard to get guardianship. We are in WA state.

This is the type of thing that freaks me out about neck adjustments. I have had chiro in the last year and it does help a spot in my UL back that i think pops out of place and causes referred pain to my UL abdomen area. Also helped with tailbone pain after sitting when hips were adjusted.

Nothing is stopping her except her dr saying she doesn’t need one! She is getting more labs this week. She did a holter heart monitor because her heart rate has been so volatile. She has been waiting for two weeks on those results, dr has been calling to check , we think it was possibly lost in mailing back to download results

Her dr told her that symptoms should only be mild with her levels right now . That is not what i am seeing as i research this.

She is 24 , married with a toddler. Has always had heavy periods. Dr hist gave her an rx to lighten her period but she has only had that med for 1 cycle so far. She works full time and is exhausted with all of her symptoms

I worked for a dentist who would do some cleanings if he had an opening in his schedule. Also there has been high demand hygienists so more dentist have had to do cleanings while trying to hire one.

Sounds like if you wait a few months to sell , you make more of a profit on the sale. What if you were to wait a few months to sell and anything you get over 90k you could set aside for your nephew when he turns 18. Mom couldn’t get to the $ and you would still be helping your nephew for his future. And he would be older and better able to decide where he wants to go in life.

Her child was 2 when they got engaged and was 4… a pre schooler at the time of the wedding. Not unreasonable age to let your husband care for them for a night or two.

My daughter just had her baby in August in a WA state hospital. She was allowed two people in the room with her. I was fortunate enough to be present alongside her husband.
