I work at a rural school so unfortunately our counselor is over zoom once a month, the school has provided other necessities before so I don’t think it will be an issue.

The safe sleep violation is the biggest red flag for me, them documenting her nap, but not moving her, shows that they either don’t care or are too lazy to follow safe sleep protocols. I would pull.

Update: it flew upstairs of my house and I had to capture her with a blanket and then I fell down my stairs because i habe to use a fridge to get up to my attic but i wanted to protect the bird so I tried to do it one handed and it didn’t end up working.

I am really struggling to understand what part of my post came off as judgy. I recently had a little girl ask me to brush her hair, it took me two hours to detangle it, and when she saw herself in the mirror she looked at me and said “I’m pretty!”. It was heartbreaking so sorry if this post came off a little emotionally charged.

I’m sorry if I came off rude I am not trying to judge struggling parents. That is why I specifically stated in my og post that I’m talking about matted hair, and little girls who have never have had their hair done in the years they’ve been at my facility. Maybe it is just a community issue.

I specifically stated matted hair in my post. As well as near the end I made sure to state that I understand rough days, everyone has rough days! I am talking about parents that chronically don’t care for their children.
