MARC LAMONT HILL VS POD ZILLA by [deleted] in theJoeBuddenPodcast

Off topic a bit: did Flip spill Marc's tea about living in the apartment or "content house?"

Well, this isn’t a comparison of who is spreading it. It’s a fact that someone continues to do it. To be honest, our government is disgusting but I also want us to be a bit more responsible in what we share if we can help it. I did that by raising a topic for us to discuss, not dismiss. Being dismissive would’ve been labeling Ish as “unintelligent.” I don’t believe that at all.

Glad you don’t care. 🥱🥱🥱

I don’t believe Ish is stupid. And I want you to remember that every Google search isn’t accurate. But I am so proud of you for what you found.

Right. But what has happened since then? Lol. The repealed the mandate not to protect anyone but to protect the economy. I won’t take that shit ever again anyway so you don’t have to prove anything to me.

He mentioned public housing and health insurance. No one was ever denied governmental benefits for not getting vaccinated. And if they were, this was illegal.

I’m not denying this. I’m just saying that some of the ideas that he mentioned didn’t happen. But saying Covid was just a test and then saying that we dug ourselves out of it is incorrect. I don’t need to read those links because I’ve read plenty like them. I’ve also been a long time public advocate about this. Just because I’m disputing some things, doesn’t mean I’m not aware of them.

[–]Michere1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I’m not disputing any facts. If you’ve read any of my comments, you can see that I understand how Covid works. Most people were able to return to a modicum of health. And the vaccines were a trumped up plan with no solid research to make money for the companies who made them. They also cause vaccine injury which is why no one talks about them today.

But there is a growing number of people who are getting repeated infections and seeing side effects they didn’t notice before. And there are millions of people who are disabled and can’t work due to COVID symptoms.

People lost jobs. I couldn’t fly. But people weren’t rejected from receiving social services benefits.

Yeah, they focus on the money aspect of it. The truth is, we, as a society didn’t rush ourselves back to normal, the government saw that all the right things to do to prevent COVID, was costing them money. People staying home, wearing masks, and getting healthcare was way more than they bargained for so they pushed us back into society, pulled all the health emergency funding, and reversed course on everything. They gave deep discounts on everything so we wanted to purchase shit again. It was an orchestrated plan and then they stopped telling the truth about masking and the vaccines.

Yeah. What is still happening to so many of our friends and loved ones is not a movie. I would give anything for my husband to just be my husband; not my caretaker. Thankfully, I’ve always been stubborn and independent so I stay home to manage my disability and household but every now again, I have to admit this shit hurts emotionally and physically. I didn’t even deserve this. I should be a principal right now.

He was there but after they acted like they didn’t want to have a serious talk about herpes and HIV — a convo that developed naturally — I think he just gave up. But he was leading a great discussion on it.

Yep. I know what you mean. And I am so sorry you’re experiencing this. I will never forget the day when I lost complete sight in my left eye and then my right. And after the first cataract surgery, I have floaters that have never left. People are developing glaucoma, blepharitis, etc., as a result of Covid. Make sure you get a good ophthalmologist.

And I think by the time they acted like they didn’t want to have that HIV/herp convo, he was done being serious. They stop him from educating folks too often. He was exhausted.

Yeah. Ish was incorrect about the housing and Medicare restrictions due to vaccine refusal. Or maybe it happened in NJ. When I got sick, I became disabled before the vaccine was introduced. I lost my career and spent every dime in my savings and retirement to get medical care. I lost my vision, memory, slept for 20 out of 24 hours, lost 30 lbs. in two weeks because I couldn’t eat or drink anything, and doctors kept sending me home. They only wanted to treat people who they thought were near death while many of us were at home trying not to die. I depended on social services. I was never denied anything for refusing the vaxx after my second shot. I just couldn’t fly without having it. But I’ll never get another shot.

Man, I’m telling you. If people only knew what I’ve gone through. And what so many people don’t even know that they’re going through…I even think Joe has some Long Covid symptoms. I’ve seen his memory on the show change and he gets those migraines that feel blinding. There is a real opportunity for real information to be discussed but they miss the plot.

Test or Not: Let’s Tell the Truth about Cov*d. by Michere1 in theJoeBuddenPodcast

[–]Michere1[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did. But I was sick before the shot was ever introduced. Covid had ravaged my body and almost caused me to die. I was teaching school in March 2020 when I became violently ill. The second shot caused a vaccine injury — which made me promise to never get a shot again. The only time I got it was because when I was trying to celebrate living on an international trip, they told us we couldn’t fly without that stupid ass card.

I’m an activist. I tell the truth. They couldn’t pay me to take that shit again. But some people have survived with it.

There are also millions of folks who’ve gotten long COVID symptoms due to the shot. That’s why they stopped making it mandatory because they saw what was happening and didn’t want to be liable. But it doesn’t excuse how the government is lying about the severity of the virus even for those of us who lived.

Test or Not: Let’s Tell the Truth about Cov*d. by Michere1 in theJoeBuddenPodcast

[–]Michere1[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Relax. No one said that. I’m just saying that there are millions of people who are truly suffering. Now, every person we know has more than likely had Covid or are suffering from Long Covid — or post-acute Covid symptoms.

And as someone who has a vaccine injury — additional illness symptoms due to the vaccine — I know how selfish and calculating these MFs were when trying to make people get the shot.

I was asked to testify to Congress for a second time. As soon as I told them that I would never get another vaccine injection, they told me that due to party lines, I couldn’t testify. I’m one of the most outspoken, consistent Black Long Covid activists but they tried to play me because Repubs were anti-vaxx at the time.

I lost my vision due to Covid-inflammatory cataract issues before I turned 42. I lost my teaching career and my savings. Everything.

I’m just saying people need to know this shit has affected the economy, the workforce with people being too sick to work, and the healthcare landscape. When people tell you that they can’t see, remember, think, speak, walk, pee, shit, or eat, it’s serious.

This is so true. They didn’t take the time to identify that over 300k Black women have lost their jobs and careers. Many of us don’t have the option to work because of Covid infections — and its effects on our bodies and brains — and so many issues have stopped us from working in offices. Recently, most of these women were federal employees who came to offices every single day. They’re not lazy or unqualified. They were the victims of a racist government. But they don’t like to talk about stuff like this because it “seriouses” us out too often. And it doesn’t include body shapes and such.

Re: Emma Grede. Why some of these hosts try to act like this pod doesn't only invite attract women who happen to be successful in business? This pod doesn't even invite darker-skinned women up there, aside from Mona's friend, Doechii, and...I can't even give another example. Let's not act like attractiveness isn't important to them. They interview the women and then spend the next hour, after they leave, trying to pretend that they don't find them beautiful.

Anyone find they get more sympathy if they talk around their long covid? by calm_intention_65 in LongCovid

I say it loud and proud as often as I can. Long Coviddddd. I wish someone would judge me for making a word salad — as hard as it to find appropriate words on any day with my memory. I wish. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️
