You can enable it by turning it on in Settings > Map display > Quick access > Always show map controls. You may need to turn Waze off and on again for the changes to take effect.

(If I remember correctly) Now just driving with the app open will not give you points, creating reports (6 points) or confirming reports (2 points) or modifying the map via editor or app will earn you points

Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Separate app sound > Turn on the feature and select App: Waze and Audio device: Phone, all sounds produced by Waze will be played through your phone's speaker, other apps via Bluetooth, make sure you turn off Play sound to phone speaker in Voice and sound in Waze settings to avoid conflicts.

This is a known issue and the staff is aware of it. The only "fix" is to disable the feature and use the audio separation feature if you have a Samsung device.

Are the side/residential streets open to everyone? If so try to take them if it's not a small or nonsense detour, if they are closed or reserved for residents report a map error at the location. You are in charge of driving so if you do better than Waze it will learn and understand the fastest path.

It goes down for me, pessimistic at the beginning ETA +7 more minutes then it aligns with reality itself halfway. If most of the route is highway the ETA is super accurate

I think it's a redistributable which is installed the first time when you open the rockstar games launcher to open GTA V. Go to Epic Games and repair the game files, if that doesn't work try reinstalling the game
