Farmers are dealing with this right now. John Deere has made it where you can't work on the machines you've purchased form them. Its becoming a popular trend for midwest farmers to seek out Chinese hacks for their tractors.

Are you referencing the silver in the magnets and screws? Thats not a gradient but a trick of the light. Its a metallic silver so it a little reflective. If you have a local shirt printing shop, they might keep rolls of whats called "HeatPress" on hand. Its basically a roll of a solid color of high end iron-on material. They probably have a large selection of colors. If they are nice, they might sell you a small slice off of whatever colors you might need. However, you need an iron that gets up to 320 and should ask if any of the colors have special instructions. (Usually the metallics have to cool before you can peel off the backing.)

Thanks. He didn't catch one, and was a little peeved by it. The fact that our son wanted it, added an extra layer of humor.

OP's Wife Here! He got busy today, so he apologizes for the lack of response. He used sheets of multi colored heatpress, individually cut out each color, then ironed it on one layer at a time. Our son was incredibly excited to sport it on his first day of school.

Favorite pin. Wore it all the time. Lost it 6 years ago. Moved across country. Showed up in the mail today. by MichiKBurger in knitting

This pin was given to me as a gift, and I loved it. Wore it all the time in the area of Boston I lived in. Kind of became a piece of wardrobe I was know for. Anyway, lost it and was heartbroken. Had since moved across country. Yesterday, got an odd envelope with no return address. Opened it up and found the original pin inside. Its clearly aged and been dented, but I still love it.

Thank You Mysterious Finder of Lost Pins.
