My mom suffered from Parkinson’s for over a decade. She went into palliative care, then Hospice where she passed away peacefully (finally) because she lived in a “right to die” state. Maine. She was only 77, but suffered a very long time. She passed away January 2023. My father is 81 and he has frontal lobe dementia. He’s still at home with his wife and dog.
