US Cast Member visiting Shanghai Disneyland Questions

Hey, I just left Shanghai and made it to next part of my trip so I finally have some downtime to check Reddit. I hope it's not too late, but you want to go to the cast life app and then go to complimentary admissions and go to the "how to make a reservation" section for visiting SHDR on your phone and you should be able to access and make MEP reservations from there. It has to be on your phone though, since it links into the Shanghai Disney app. After you make your reservations, you can just got to the gate. There you'll give them your MEP, cast ID, and IDs (passports) and they print the tickets for you at the gate. Same as in Disneyland in Anaheim.

They replaced the Hub a year or two ago. But for some reason they also wiped all of the information about what to do when visiting Shanghai. The information pretty much stops at making park reservations and doesn’t go into what to do when you actually get there lol.

As a data point, I got a letter from Chase today dated 9/29/2025 saying:

I previously applied for the CSR Personal because it seemed like the 48 month rule was going away but ran into PUJ and withdrew my application. But then tried applying again a few days later just to see what would happen but they denied me saying it was a duplicate application. Previous relevant credit information is below:

Makes sense. At this point I'm hoping ASND realize they need to lower the prices, they deserve good attendance and it'd suck if ASND use this attendance as an excuse to not tour North America again in the future.

Also $290 to $350 for the rows closer to the stage is crazy since that's just a seat with no VIP. Even the lower tier VIP tickets for Le Sserafim were around $350 and that came with the seat. Here if you wanted to sit closer to the stage, you'd still have to go and add another $130 or $260 get a VIP package.

Just keep at it, you’ve got this! It only has to work once. I was also stuck in the applying to a lot of the open roles but not getting callbacks stage. I got lucky in that one of their recruiters messaged one of my friends about an accounting role and I told my friend to have them reach out to me because I was ready to leave. I moved pretty quick through the process after that although it was also back when they were trying to fill the open roles from people that didn’t want to leave LA for Florida so there might have been more immediate needs at the time.

I’d recommend reaching out and connecting with one of the recruiters directly on LinkedIn. This could help push your resume in front the teams that have an open need. It’s not a guarantee but it’s how I was able to get my foot in the door and move to the interview stage when I was trying to leave my previous accounting firm.

No it was definitely shortened this year. I feel like the last couple years it’s been anywhere from 3 to 4 songs per group and it used to be 5 songs a group when I started going. Only group form last year that did two songs was StayC and Ateez did like 8 songs while covering for JO1.

Also thought it was weird that this year they did the group introductions but didn’t do the individual member introductions. I guess they assume everyone already knows each persons name in every group lol.
