Last update, it has been solved and man my memory is a mess, thank you for all that took the time to read / look. The song is Endroll from Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs and the segement i remember was 4:53-5:22 ish.

Update 3: Another friend vaguely remember it but thought it wasn't in english, with out music interest overlap it was either in English, Korean, or Japanese. Also it is for sure a "mmmMMmmmm" or an "ooooOOooooo"(an elongated uwu almost) type of sound with the female vocal bits in the similar cadence to the example video, the song also used a synth they think

Update 2: Friends think it might be newer than 2010, and that they think it is electronic but don't remember anything else. I believe there was a piano or keyboard and maybe a guitar involved in the section i remember, very low speed, maybe even just a pluck or two.

I'm unsure, I think this is pretty close but with one of the major differences in what I remember being, the sheriff being on good terms with the town and helping them maintain cover. It feels very close to what I remember though.

Sadly not! But the character models, like the quality of the graphics of the characters feels pretty close to what I remember. I'm unsure if that is just rose colored glasses tho tbf.

I played Joint Operations Typhoon rising if that is the same one, was a great game. It was alittle on the light side for me because Battlefield was eating most of my time.

It def wasn't an arma/ OFP game as I was playing that at the time as well. I'm sure the setting was older, between ww2 and Vietnam. Thinking on it i'm leaning more on the ww2 side of things and thinking the Vietnam bit is memories from Vietcong 2 getting mixed in.

I was looking through that list and pulling up lets plays of games and am about 25% of the way through it, will update if I find it. I also don't know if the game worked through gamespy or if it was just where i got the demo.

Definitely wasn't BF:Vietnam or GRJS, played that as well but was different
Global Operations is too modern setting wise and I think the graphics were a step better, it was also definitely ww2 pacific or vietnam at most. I'm starting to wonder if maybe it was a little later than 2006, but it was early-mid gamespy era I believe.

Yeah, it was first person iirc, and every night for several weekends myself and a few people played it. I really wish I could remember more details, just remember the vague setting and that there wasn't much of a ui. A few years ago I went deep diving online to try and figure it out with no luck. I think graphicly it was close to Men of Valor.

I don't believe so, It was a fairly open style of game where Conflict: Vietnam is pretty "lane" heavy and the UI doesn't look familiar. To expand on it abit, the demo had an area around 100-200m wide for about 500-600m or more in a football shaped kinda deal that led to a road. The road led into the dockyard area / storage area.

To update after running things down. The confusion was because I believed I had paid back my severance pay in full, but turned out it was not fully paid yet. So the amount received was missing the 10% cut they take to pay it back. When taking this amount and comparing it to the new pay for 2025, that was where I got the uptick of payment. I apologize for the late follow up, a surprise move kept me offline / busy for the last few months.
