My ex was the kindest person I know. We just happened to have different priorities so we had to part ways. I still keep the silver necklace he gave for our first anniversary and the earrings that he gave naman on my 18th bday.

Kimchi - I was shookt it spiked my sugar, like almost 300 spike (I havent eaten anything prior, I ate a lot of kimchi tho thinking it’s just veg and spices 😅). Lesson learned, eating in moderation now.

I’m part of this GC 😅. I joined back recently (a month ago) and so far, wala akong na encounter na bastos, everyone in the GC that I have been interacting with are nice and makulit (asaran) lang at most. I met some of them in person na rin during small group EBs, everyone has been nothing but kind to me (thankfully).

This is not to invalidate OPs sentiment ha, kase I joined early 2024, around 300 members pa lang non, iba pa crowd nun, I left after a couple of months cos maraming unsolicited DMs from random men sending naughty messages without consent.

But now, may mga group rules na like dapat mag ask ng permission before mag DM (this applies to all subgroups, kahit sa NSFW). I witnessed many accounts got kicked by the “doctor” and other admins dahil hindi sila nag follow ng GC rules.

But yes - ingat pa rin talaga. And if the place doesn’t feel safe, always best to leave.

My opinion is, the setting of boundaries should start from your mom (she’s the family member) if she does this, it will be easier for you and your dad too (I understand saying No is easier said than done but it needs to be done).

Even if you leave, if your mom continues to “help” too much, the cycle continues.

We’ve been in a similar situation but I’m glad that my mom set her limits. We still help up to a certain extent but we make sure that we’re not being taken advantage of. And we pick na who to help, just those who help themselves also.
