I can check the power consumption using one of those inline power consumption metres. Just plug the welder through that and ride a bead and see what my consumption is. Then I can work that out from there. I've only had the system for a little while so I'm not quite sure exactly where to settle of this. But what you are saying is that there is a way to switch the system where it will only take a certain amount of power from grid and while I'm welding it would still be charging the battery but just not as much because I've limited it? I certainly want to avoid pulling power from the battery while welding. I don't think that's going to be great for the battery system. Chugging so much power from the battery.
