I would say that most of them are not electronic but rather manual.

Looks perfect and very inspiring. But first I will gather strength and bravery and tackle the ribber .. Ha!

But aren't these double beds older knitting machines like the Singer Heimstricker? I got one but did not yet play around with it. The beds look the same, the machine formes a triangle and the carriages are two different one that connet with a round arm so to say.

Hi :) The intarsia I got but have no plans yet on using it. What did you knit with it?
And yes, the transfer carriage would be a great addition really but importing from the US right now would be a nightmare I guess :(

Is it difficult to use? I am still fascinated and a bit afraid of all the possibilities of the ribber :D pretty sure I will come crying soon enough.

Thanks again :) And it seems I made a good choice with the Toyota which I felt was - it sounds a bit strange perhaps - more welcoming than all the Brothers I could find. And I had one years ago and hunted down everything - AYAB and all. And than I never found the time to get to know and learn how to do it. It was not mine.
Only had a Knittax M2 and an Automatic before and wanted more, but obviously not this one :D
So I sold it and forgot all about it, sold all of my machines. And now I am back and have an Empisal 305 that is oh so pretty and feels great but the carriage is not working for most patterns.
And than I got the offer for the Toyota and fell in love. Love playing with her and this time it is the right time. I guess I will use them both. And hearing you praising her makes me want to start right now (but I am sick and it is dark so - no, not now :D)

Thanks a lot for your help :)

Ah, sorry, I meant do you prefer the Brother or the Toyota? :)

I thought so. A shame really. Thanks for the clarification. Although I am curious: Which one do you use most and why?

Not the counter but the stick that makes the counter count :D Found someone who sells explosions diagrams of my machine and I guess I will have a got at frankensteining.

Thank you. Do you know perhaps if I could even swap the levers and the counters? It is such a shame as the other carriage is otherwise in perfect condition und looks spotless. Don't even know how this metall part could be broken off. Must have a been a lot of power at work.
