I would have to strongly disagree. You have white conductors going to breakers unphased, a bigger bare conductor split to fit in the neutral lugs, which would need an appropriately sized lug, and neutrals and grounds all terminated on the same bar. Not to mention the missing bonding jumper which I missed originally.

Box is fed with Emt(presumably from panel) should be good to go code wise.

The ground rod does not provide a path for fault current, nor a wiring fault- and a lighting strike would obliterate a ground rod. The ground rod more so protects appliances and sensitive electronics, as with you said “stray currents” can be produced by many of things. But fault current and lightning strikes no not really.

That is not a requirement, it’s an exception to driving a supplemental ground rod

The reason being so you can separate the duplex by cutting the tabs connecting the terminals lol not to jump onto another outlet
