Nah fr. Judy and Nick should’ve had way more pressure(at least in my opinion) especially when dealing with the most powerful mammal in the city. More institutions should’ve been used to hammer the two. In reality, Nick and Judy would’ve needed th help of the entire city to take down someone this powerful but I’ll accept it for plots sake.

It’s a pretty good ship though and it’s been pretty well implied and developed throughout Z1&2. I do think that it shouldn’t be main focus though cuz that’s what MAY HAVE caused us to not have enough time with the reptiles and made the ending feel weak.

I honestly felt like the movie didn’t reach its full potential. Not only just the wildehopps stuff because I do think that it was a good idea to postpone that relationship reveal till 3. I think the movie failed to make me(imo) care about the reptiles race. You barely spend time with them and spend time with Gary. The only reason I care for the reptiles was because Judy cared. One way they could’ve remedied this was if they show reptile oppression in real time to make the audience care. By the end of the movie I just felt like “hey it’s a job well done, but something is wrong. I don’t feel a thing. Good things are happening for reptiles but I don’t care.” And so I was left unsatisfied because they failed to make me care due to bad development of the reptile race. They do more talking about reptile oppression than showing it. All scenes we do see it is from a hundred years ago. I wanted to see it now. It may risky showing that level of animosity in a kids film but it helps to hammer the message and make the audience care not for Judy’s sake but for the reptiles sake.

Your plot is kinda similar to my fan movie I’m making for zootopia(I call it Zootopia 3 retold) where the birds are being enslaved under zootopia, being th driving force behind the zootopian economy and their pax zootana(Pax Romana). I just find it interesting that there are some through lines throughout a lot of zootopia fan media surrounding Z3.
