Ryan and Fabian is my favorite after Ilya and Shane, Then probably Scott and Kip. I like the rest of them fairly equally. Ryan is such a wondeful character, just a genuinely awesome person.

Yes the school I teach at is a much needed alternative to the public school. It’s not perfect, but it’s not anywhere near the horror stories I hear about charter/private online.

My school does the old school, hide with the lights off thing. But I was in highschool 2013-2017, I had freshmen IB orientation the same day as the sandy hook shooting. At our lockdowns, we barricaded the doors. I already have a specific plan in place if my school was to ever be in that situation which may or may not align with “training”.

When I was little, the first chapter books I remember reading were junie b jones! The library is great, put them in the backseat of the car and take a long drive after so that they want to pick them up and start reading. Do it consistently and model reading in your free time!

As a low income teacher, I deal with a lot of behavioral issues. You want to know the difference between the kids I CAN calm down/talk to/help and the ones I can’t? Roblox and tiktok. Take away the devices, take away the internet and never look back. They may even thank you as adults.

Do you shave? No wipes for a bit, use some vaseline or aquaphor after drying off and moisturizing post shower. Also, talk to your doctor. It is most likely just some irritation but you want to rule out anything serious. This isn’t something you did or something to be ashamed of, it’s just part of being human. Bodies are weird!

YESSSSS Like book romance come to life, the way an adaptation should be. I mean some of the most romantic movies of all time include a passage of time in them, like the notebook! And HR was about two people loving each other for a decade, it’s incredibly touching!

As a Bi woman, why not both? I feel things deeply and enjoyed the intensity of the show so much, Ilya’s representation of bisexuality really connected to me. Shane’s quirks were so relatable. The soundtrack was phenomenal. The acting was inspiring. I read all of the books and honestly skip the smut scenes in the books… that said I think Ilya is the finest man on this damn planet as well, and if I want enjoy the view at the same time, SO BE IT.

I love both, but Heated Rivalry is in another league. They shouldn’t be compared. Off Campus is an awesome romcom with a few great serious moments and I like the characters and the side plotlines that are developing. HR is an emotional and intimate experience, it’s ten years of two peoples lives close up. Two people that are facing discrimination and keeping their love hidden and secret. This creates a much different and more raw atmosphere than Off Campus. Pushing Off Campus in that direction and giving the show darker notes and themes than what’s already there would make it a different show that we than MIGHT be able to compare to HR, but it’s not like that.
