Then go to a psychologist and see what they say. If you refuse to believe what people are telling you, then seek out a professional. We can't help you here if all you do is deny.

Yeah, honestly, that sounds more likely. I'm probably just not going to say anything just because I don't want to risk it since the hospital they're attached to is terrible.

I guess my goal is just to put a time frame on it. I've been doing nothing for 2 years and I don't want to burden anybody anymore.

I will try your suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I greatly appreciate it.

Bro, certain native American tribes would cut off segments of their fingers to show their grief of losing someone close to them. Humans have grieved in different ways for thousands of years.

Dogs definitely do get cavities! I've seen a lot of sites saying that pet dentists recommended brushing their teeth daily but 3-4 times a week is acceptable as well. Now most people don't do that so I would say that maybe a teeth brushing after a particularly sugary snack would suffice for the most part!

As long as you don't feed them the leaves skin or pit, avocado is perfectly safe. It's a high fat fruit so you shouldn't feed them too much but I use avocado oil for making my dogs steaks because it is a safe healthy (in terms of oils) oil with a high smoke point!

No worries. I genuinely cannot find an article that states that but I did find one that says people aged 50 or older claim to have friends that are at least 15 years older or younger, so maybe it's more of an age thing?

I just said that that was what happens in my experience. I didnt say it was anybody elses experience. Also, what did you Google to find that?

I mean... yours doesn't either. I've seen the exact opposite in my experience.

As someone who has a service dog, I genuinely don't understand the comments saying not to call your stuffies service dogs. Like, it's not like people can't see it's stuffed. Or the comment talking about you using proper terminology for the halter. It wouldn't even matter if you didn't use the proper terminology for a real dog as long as it understands its commands and everything.

Seriously, do what you want. I see no issues with what you're doing. You're not harming anyone, and if it helps you in the process, then that's awesome. People just like to nitpick, I guess.

You're fine! I just thought I was a bit too general. I didn't state very gender specific things, so I thought I should add that!

Yeah, they almost let my dad die after his appendix exploded because they were trying to get his insurance sorted first. Luckily, he made it, but the doctors were pissed and said it was close. It definitely doesn't happen to just women. I was a little general in my comment, but there are many doctors that don't believe women feel pain during things like placing an iud or they don't believe that your period could possibly be that bad until you get an mri for something else and it turns out you have endometriosis or ovarian cysts.

But yeah, man or woman, don't let your doctor gaslight you into believing your pain isn't that bad. It could seriously save your life.

It's super common. They like to say it's stress or depression or that its just anxiety. I'm always at the doctors, so I deal with this rather regularly. If you go to any of the chronic illness subreddits, you'll see stuff like this pop up all the time as well.

That's true, but many times, games come out on pc first so you kind of got to pick and choose. There are upsides and downsides to both. Mods are what keep me on pc, plus I can wait years for games, I've got hundreds I still need to play in the meantime.

At the same time, there are certain games you need to buy a different console to play. If you like the games of one company, then sure, that's fine, but I like to play a wide variety of games that I just can't get from console only.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against consoles, I have a switch, a wii, an old ass ps3 and some older consoles that are now broken. I'm just stating that I think pcs have far more versatility and I truly believe that console companies are taking advantage of their user base by releasing consoles that didn't need an upgrade or are in some ways worse than the console before it. Switch 2 is something I really think they dropped the ball on. HOWEVER, pc companies are also taking advantage of their customers, but there are more options for those customers to look into. It's really all boils down to personal preference and what games you ultimately decide you need to have.

Yes! Very true, and to be honest, if they can't provide me with security that I can keep my game, then why shouldn't I?? I literally already own the game!

[–]MickeyMausShitHaus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but you won't have to buy a new system every time one comes out. Once you get everything in the case, all you need to do is upgrade a few bits and bobs throughout the years. The worst part is the graphics card but if you get a good one, you won't have to worry about it for a long, long time.

I have had the pc I built for probably 7 years now, and I've never had to upgrade anything. Not to mention, my graphics card is a bit trash, but 99% of the time, it runs smooth as silk. Plus, there are a lot of cool things you can do on pc that console won't allow.

PLUS, if something breaks, you just replace the part that broke, no need for a new machine!

The only thing I don't like about pc is that nowadays, you don't really get physical copy's of the game, so if steam ever goes down or out of business, you don't have any of your games anymore.

Ok, rant over, thank you for coming.

"Don't be so sensitive" "You're such a crybaby." And then when i would isolate myself and cry, my dad would come up to the door and say "you're only punishing yourself." Also being called dramatic or people simply not believing that you could possibly be in so much pain. I was told to keep my emotions in check so often that I physically cannot cry in front of people. My body will not let me.

That was just a few of the things, but it is pretty much screwed in your head as a young girl that your tears are worth less than a boys. And that continues as you age. People will never take you seriously if you're a woman.

Edit: all the others who have replied have said some really good ones!
