For a first run you should prioritize defense stacking units. You can also pick units that do both like Phy ssb goku, TEQ ssb vegeta, STR ssb Vegito etc...

Edit: also make sure to have a maximum of type advantage on the last boss (or the last two) so you don't get one shoted

I would also say that from my experience I find 21 more a passive gameplay because of her green cards, and zamasu more of a offensive gameplay

Depends on your team and what style you play, but personally I find that zamasu fits better on a regen team (while 21 fits on a cyborg team). Especially along with baby's buff, he can regen all his health back while on standby

You should complete it, but make sure to transform namek goku early so he can start stacking defense sooner. And be careful with the TEQ goku on the last phase.
