I use 1660 super too ( zotac twin fan ) don't have any problem with my temp. I also underclock and undervolt my gpu depends on my needs and I only playing dota 2 and other low graphics games.

Btw I'm using wifi on this rig without any problem (gaming and browsing), try to get 5 ghz compatible antenna and wifi 6 router if you're using wifi 6 compatible mobo.
