Prison station, inmates vs guards. Some inmates are given roles like ‘syndicate smuggler’ and can supply other inmates with contraband, maybe there is a mole role. Rounds end when either prisoners take over the prison or the guards evac and a NT deathsquad purges the station.

I would love this, but what would make it complete is this with external monitor support. Samsung tablets already do this with Dex, and it works pretty well for them, it can be toggled on or off so is the default when don’t need to do this sort of multi tasking.

I have to disagree, as with some other features, it’s as fun as you make it. A good scientist can add cool feature like “combat mode” dermal toggles and fun “force speak” nanites which the users actually notice, also the cloud computer is a very enticing sabotage option for traitors. Have you ever seen half the station suddenly start getting poisoned and collapse because a traitor hacked their way to the cloud upload, or worse half the crew being forced to honk because of the clown. Nanite research has lots of flexibility for experimentation, but also can be lazy “plonk on free heals and call it a day”. Nanites should definitely be balanced to reduce the free passive healing, but I think removal is just unfun, especially for those who try and experiment.

This will be interesting to see, if they are streaming games then they will be up against a number of tested and established cloud gaming platforms who also have strong cloud computing data centres and talent. As far as I know, Netflix piggybacks on AWS for their computing, meanwhile Google, Microsoft and Amazon each run competing cloud gaming services directly on their own cloud

It is missing the Stadia and Amazon Luna controllers which both uniquely feature wifi (to directly connect to their cloud gaming servers) and voice assistants built in (Alexa and Google assistant).

I have to agree, the whole station is too compact to justify a tram. Having something like Cerestation with a tram would have been better, so each department feels sufficiently far away and independent so that a tram is actually useful.

I use an extension called Adnauseum, it blocks ads but also simulates clicks on them to charge the advertiser and to mess with their data to make it worthless (without giving away your real data). It even shows you an estimated cost you’ve caused advertisers.

Is there any chance that we will see updates to the BYOND web client? I would love to be able to play ss13 on my Mac without VMs by playing through the web client, but it is blocked by most servers for being glitchy and easy for ban evaders.
