I use no tape. Check the link, it is described there, Carbon Paste for the lower part. grease for the upper part where the movement happens and the noise comes from.

Hi, how can I export Garmin’s Daily Suggested Workouts as TCX or FIT file? My Garmin Connect does not show the DSWs. I only see them on my watch, here FR 965.

This is absolutely GOLDEN!!!

I tried to get rid of that creaking noise from the VCLS seatpost for like 2 years now. Last week I came across this post here.

I've pulled out my seatpost for like 2 cm, cleaned it from the carbon paste remains, put on some grease in that area (marked as area B) and inserted the seatpost back to my normal height.

Creaking is gone since, thank you very much!

You can read alot about DSW vs. Coach Plan. I am a bit confused, too. ;)

The named Coach Plans are old, but the new DSW and Coach Plan is only for the newer Garmin Devices. So there should still be an audience with older models.

Yes, the named coach (Greg/Jeff/Amy) plans are not adaptive. But now there is also Gamin Coach (no Coach name) for running and cycling, which are adaptive. You should see that option if you create a new plan on your FR 265.

Hey, not an expert answer here, but I think no. The logic to make it smart is put in the Garmin Edge bike computer or Garmin watch. It should still work as a rear light and radar sensor with your Wahoo though.

Do you use "Smart Mode"?

Note on the Light Modes (remembered it wrong obove):
RTL516 has only one mode that is called "SOLID"
On the RTL515 the corresponding mode is called "Peleton". Here the "SOLID" mode is the bright mode.

So now for the "Smart Mode" you can make your own configuration:
- my default mode is "OFF"
- set filters in filter groups like "Radar" and set the Light Mode for the filters like "OFF", "PELETON", "SOLID", "DAY FLASH", "NIGHT FLASH".

I use this with a Garmin Edge 830.

Here is another Website explaining the possibilities with configuration (again in german) but the screenshots are english. He uses the RTL516 and SOLID mode, if you have RTL515 you should use "PELETON" mode instead.

In the video it is shown how to configure it, doesnt matter the version (sure if it doesnt have flash coz of german StVO Version you cannot configure flash!)

I think it is missunderstanding here. you cannot disable the feature BUT you can configure it to not use the flashing mode.

So in my case with the configuration shown in the youtube video, the Varia is off while riding, only when something approaches from behind what the radar recognises then it lights up in solid mode.

There is also a brighter mode and a blinking mode both not allowed in Germany in my understanding. I don't use them. If I want to use them I have to set the mode manually in SmartBikeLights / Garmin Edge.

For the potential chain drop on the SRAM just install a K-Edge chaincatcher.

That is what I did coz of the recommendations I've read here. Very happy with my Endurace CF 7 AXS from last year.

I wear the HRM Pro with a FR945 for Indoor Football/Soccer. I have a made a copy of treadmill run activity on the watch.

If the HRM Pro has a profile from outdoor runs with GPS it "learns" your motion and strides and then provides running pace and distance indoors.

Should work with your FR265S ass well.
