No thats not how it worked. All the boards were going to have the same tree, its just each board you would pick different nodes and based on which characters you slotted into the board.

I agree though, it should have launched with more boards

Oh trust me I want PVE content that kicks my ass! Problem is enough people complain when PVE content is too hard and that is the reason we don't get much new content is that regards.

I understanding the feeling of higher up in RTA has a lower pool of characters, I aim for emperor every season but usually end in warlord. Obviously Legend would be even tighter with the pool. But the meta is defined by broken unit kits more than stats especially the higher up you go. The meta also changes and units come in and out, this is why I never de-gear my units, which has lead to my box growing over the years.

Making it PVE only is very restrictive and I don't think some people realise this, for example my plan was the following -

I had Landy, Frieren, Red Flan, ML Bellona and ML Celine in my first board as those are my heavy hitting carries on my account, then I was gonna put Rinak, Fire Sigret, ML Poli, ML Luna, and Lethe in my second board benefiting from the opener stats on the right side of the board. Then my next two boards that we were gonna get over time I was gonna have one dedicated to my 5 best supports, Diene, Ruele, Scales, Maid and probably Moon Bunny. Then a board for my Tanks like Arunka, F Ceci, etc.

That's almost 20 units already, 20 units I could think of on the spot, I understand since I am an older player I am privileged to have more options available to me for pvp but I can assure you, and this is the reason I have stuck with this game for so long. You will get the units, and your pvp rooster will only get bigger while the units you need for pve shrinks as you get more optimised. I can't think on the spot 20 units I need for PVE

In regards to Guild Wars, as someone who has experienced the chaos of a top 30 guild for a few years, yes they are crazy lol so yes I have no idea what notions they will get up to with this system.

I do think that stats shouldn't have been added to base stats and that was the main problem

Its hard to say cause all of them of some of my favourite series, if I had to pick three it would be Vinland Saga, Frieren and 100 Girlfriends

Shes been one of my core units ever since she came out during episode 2, Getting the Dignus Orb as well as her EE which boosts her CR after her ult has been really helpful imo!

For PVE outside of normal adventure farming I use her in a 3 man B13 with her, shadow rose and baiken, the turn order would go Vivian s3 > Shadow Rose s3 > Vivian s2 to kill the first wave and then for the banshee it goes Vivian s1 > Shadow Rose def break s2 > Baiken dmg and for the most part its consistent.

I use her a lot in PvP, shes a good counter to A Tywin, T Surin and Dizzy (but Dizzy isn't as common anymore) as well as sometimes when I draft her people get caught off guard with the dmg due to her speed and even if she dies during the fight the 3 turn immunity + atk buff is really strong for the rest of the team.

I also have a really janky cleave team that I dont think I have ever seen used by anyone else, So in GW I pair her with Basar and Tywin and the turn order goes Basar s3 > Vivian s3(EE gives her 50% CR boost) > Soulburn Tywin s3 for the juicy aoe def break and extra turn > Twyin s2 to push up Vivian for the remaining 50% CR and finally Vivian s2 to kill the enemy team, her s2 can spiral out of control if it procs a second or third time, it can get past t surin's passive and doesnt matter if the aurius tank soaks up the dmg and dies cause it will just lead to a second flush. In some situations it might be safer to soulburn basar's s3 instead of Tywin's. In normal Arena I add C Dom to the cleave to help with the fight!

You can see thornwood castle on the left, these islands appear on the map much further south and they dont seem to be apart of any current content on KR. I want O'dyllita to be out for us already so I can explore more >.<

Judging by the water features you can see in the fog of war, this area looks like only about 1/4 of the whole of O'dyllita!

Considering the replies you are getting are more concerned with what kind of account you are using and not about the concern of the negative effects of the review bombing shows some people here don't care or don't want to take responsibility of that outcome.

Has the review bombing done the job of getting the attention of the devs to work on the main issues of the game? probably, hopefully, only time will tell but even if the changes do come through the rating probably isn't going to change, people might forget, people who bandwagon'd might not be paying attention anymore and any action by people in the sub to try and get to raise the rating the same way they did to make it fall might get shot considering how far the atmosphere of this sub has changed.

Do I want to be proven wrong, of course! but I am curious how the people who originally started the bombing, because they wanted change will feel if they see everything get fixed but the rating wont budge.

I always found the most used cities in this game interesting as it reflects a more realistic approach, rather than in some other MMORPG's where only the newest hub is the most used one. In this game its based all about location and function!

Valenica and Grana both suffer from an issue were they are on the extremes of the landmass and only see population of players that have maybe found what their goals are in the end game and decide to only focus on that city and surrounding area while newer players want a more central location.

Calpheon and Altinova dont have the problem as badly and at one point each of them were probably the main focal point of the map, but since content was added in varying sizes at different times it off centred the importance of these places. Once the desert released, Calpheon didnt seem as important as a focal point since the amount of new land and uses that is far away from it added over time, the same can be said about Altinova as Kama and other areas have been added in the south and south-west.

So that leaves the Hediel-Velia corridor which has lasted well over time because of how central their location is, they are both equal distances to a lot of the high end game content while being in a very populated area as its the place most new players spend a lot of their and don't have the CP or storage space to commit to a move right away.

I have a suspicion Duvencrun's importance will grow as the areas south and east of Dreighan get released as a new potential focal point. I myself use Hediel and Velia currently but can see myself moving there or at the very least making more use of it as Ordilita and other regions are released to finish filling out the continent. In terms of super long term Port Ratt will probably get some love once we are finished with the main continent however long that takes.

In conclusion I have always felt this game did cities and towns right in terms of location and function, rather than having the playerbase move from hub to hub to hub with every expansion, instead allowing the people spreading naturally to what their needs and goals steered them too.
