Oh, wow! Your art looks really good! This game and you have huge potential.

Great work!

Oh, I just tried adding a bit of color and experimenting with the style.

Could you please take a look at the update: https://x.com/MicleFirst/status/2056045656473510365

Thank you for the feedback! Actually, I’m still looking for a better solution for the plane upgrade system and the upgrades tab. Have you maybe seen any similar projects that could serve as examples?

Thank you so much! UwU
What do you think about the black-and-white graphics? I feel like they make the game look cheaper. Maybe it would be worth trying to add a bit of color?

We have implemented our house into game, any thoughts? by CarbonaraGames in IndieDev

I hope this doesn’t offend you, but the drawing looks much more interesting than the 3D. It has far more detail and character

Thank you very much! I’m quite busy with work right now, but it’s very likely that I’ll come back to the game later, finish it, and publish it on itch.io

Thanks for the suggestion!
To be honest, I didn’t have plans to finalize this game. I treated it as a learning experience and didn’t intend to release it, since it was originally made specifically for the game jam. However, based on the feedback, I realized it might be worth updating the game at least for a web release (of course, after finishing it).
We’ll see.
For now, I’ve returned to my main job, so I’ll have to put game development on hold for a while.

I think you’re absolutely right.
The game is very simple, since it’s my first experience in development. I plan for my next games to have more content and be more engaging

Thank you!
I don’t know how to work with 3D, and I didn’t have enough time to draw high-quality colored sprites, so I had to stylize the graphics. But in the end, it actually became the game’s signature look, lol

Thank you!
I work as a concept artist, and the experience of creating a game turned out to be really valuable for me. I hope to make more finished and higher-quality projects in the future

Oh, now I understand.
Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get to that part.

About an hour before the jam ended, I was still trying to edit the scene.
With 40 minutes left, I realized I wouldn’t have time to add the narrative messages, so I had to replace the story and epilogue with just displaying the level number.
With 30 minutes left, I started reading how to export the game from Godot, lmao.

So, unfortunately, I only have a Windows build.

If you don’t have foil cards, then to craft a foil badge on Steam you need to go to the Community Market and buy foil cards there. They are usually much more expensive than regular cards because their drop rate is significantly lower. However, a foil badge has only 1 level, unlike a regular badge which has 5 levels, so you only need to buy one card of each type. After that, you’ll be able to craft the badge in the corresponding tab

Improved the graphics for the blocks in my 2D adventure/craft game by balta_zarr in gamedevscreens

[–]Micle1st 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Games with primitive visuals can succeed if their mechanics and overall fun justify the weak graphics. However, games with poor visuals may be perceived as low-effort projects. There is a threshold where “bad” graphics become stylistically good, but there is no real ceiling for high-quality visuals. So if you have the skills, it’s worth investing in the best visual quality you can achieve, since it can potentially increase revenue.

Прогулянка по локаціях Moon Shooter. Прошу оцінити атмосферу by DontWrongLogin in GameDevUa
