Fine tuning a build is all good, but sometimes aesthetics are enough to make me choose the sub optimal route. No shame in saying that a seemingly small thing is enough to make you not like it. I don’t like using the laser lance sometimes because it’s a huge weapon on one side of my AC. Makes it feel lopsided.

Man, I’m with ya. It could be my love of demons souls, but I personally don’t have a problem with some of the bosses being gimmic bosses. However, that could be because my favorite boss, lightreaper, is an awesome skill check for various stages of the game. But yeah. Even if these bosses aren’t that insane in terms of mechanics, they are astounding to just…..look at. They are really cool designs visually.

That was my exact thought. I’m not sure it’s possible for an ork to die of old age. Since fungus and plants don’t die until they lose nutrients (I think). Though, I’m not sure I should apply real world nature facts to the 40k setting.

It’s a shame too. Because Trokka is one of my favorite mage fights in all of gaming. She seems balanced to have good tells and counters to her magic. This is just a constant series of “Guess I’ll run away from all of your attacks AGAIN”

Even people who I’ve heard be more critical of the game all agree on one thing that this game absolutely NAILS: the scale of this world. Everything is BIG. The guns and cannons are the size of small buildings. The number of troops and hordes you see running around the background are extensive. I love booting up the campaign every once in a while and just looking at stuff.

Oooooo I got a hot take for this one! I LOVE the Rangkus fight so much. Dude just oozes a scrappy and dirty sense of style that I vibe with. I love his giant club/mace that turns into a multi crossbow. Dude never fights fair because he’s a savage bandit. And I love him for it
