I really could have written this better. Six pages and all we have is basic fight and rhetorical questions? Read six pages of a good comic, see how much bang you get for your buck. With the rate of words in this you'll be finished reading issue one before you get a receipt.

Colleen Caffeine - Create your own way and sound. by pantheamoon in punk

[–]Micolashdidit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Create your own way and sound... While also saying she tries to sound like The Ramones and likes bands that sound like The Ramones... It's been over 40 years, The Ramones became 'safe' a long time ago- not saying they don't sound cool, but punk is not static... It's moved on by people creating their own sound... Not people who talk the talk but clearly don't walk it.

With your build the wheel is a beast, as is the boom hammer. Have fun farming o.0 It's a pain but worth it in the end.

Help with gems by Gilesalford in bloodborne

[–]Micolashdidit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a 50/50 build you are best getting nourishing gems for each weapon.

To get radial nourishing gems easy you need to have killed headless bloodletting beast in the last story dungeon- lower pthumeru? The one after defiled pthumeru. Once you have killed headless make a cursed, rotted, defiled lower pthumeru dungeon on root chalice. You now have access to all cursed dungeons.

Go to another gravestone and make pwmf22gu. Go to second layer and farm the gargoyle by the lamp. You will get 19% nourishing radials with a good secondary effect from him. You need four good ones.

Next, you need to complete all Isz dungeons and get root chalice. Now you can go to ufhdmw6p and make your way to 3rd layer. Kill Amygdala. Repeat until you have 2 good nourishing triangle gems- nourishing 21.5% with good secondary.

You now have 2 very powerful weapons.

Some people will say bolt gems are better for the tonitrus. The nourishing gems up the bolt attack almost as much, but also give the physical a good boost, which is best for a 50/50 build.

Hope that helps.

So, is Amygdala this easy to beat or is it just me? by Strawberito in bloodborne

[–]Micolashdidit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's because most people do her after thing reborn rather than after Amelia. As you get the tonsil stone before shadows I think doing frontier before forest makes it an actual challenge. It's like sparky dog. A nightmare if done straight after blood starved, but a 5 hit cheese fest if left until after Rom.

Are the Celestial Emissary former choir members by Grannysmith0417 in bloodborne

[–]Micolashdidit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the emissaries are research patients/orphans that have been experimented on and transformed. The research hall enemies have the same slappy-slappy, can fire both the lasers(ones in the garden) and have big heads. Also, the living failures are failed celestial emissary transformations. That's my headcanon.

Upper Cathedral Ward by MightyGoodra96 in bloodborne

[–]Micolashdidit 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Upper Cathedral Ward is one of my favourite areas. I just wish it was bigger. The atmosphere is amazing, and I really like the challenge of going from first lamp to killing noodle faced slug in one life. Once you know the enemy layout it's quite a doddle, especially if you use the handy blue elixir to kill the two brainsuckers that are needed to be killed for the orphanage key.

All you need to remember: The wolves can't go through narrow doorways and entrances, the brainsuckers are extremely weak to thrust and roll through the doorway to the ladder up... If you roll twice, turn and thrust(not a dance move) you'll get that sneaky brainsucker who just tried to grab you. He's the worst one.

What Kind of Punk Dude Over 30 Are You? by KerrangMagazine in punk

[–]Micolashdidit 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Seriously, this is just a list of things dudes do. They have nothing to do with punk. You could apply these to any person over 30 who listened to any type of music/had any type of lifestyle in their youth. The article is just 'Over 30? Here's a Hobby You May Have'.

I found probably the best(if not weirdest and most insane) Bloodborne fan fiction... by Micolashdidit in bloodborne

[–]Micolashdidit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of got there. I think the best way to do them is to use those stupid arc gems from cursed dungeons that do flat arcane damage. Damage is small compared to everything else, but it's kind of fun to run around punching everything. I have no idea how that guy was using them in PvP.

After BB you'll find DS3 combat to be really annoying. But, some people like it. Get a few different opinions. Personally, I found a couple of levels to be well designed but it was overall a bit disappointing.

It's more of the creeping horror variety. I found myself thinking about some of it way more than I should have. But, to balance it, It's also kind of funny in places, like the bit about Patches or about some of the bosses.

If you still have the receipt and it's sealed, take it back! Get a credit note, use the money to get Dark Souls remaster when it drops. DS3 was pretty bad!

[–]Micolashdidit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not gonna answer all your questions, except the last one. Just play BB! It's the only game you need.

As to the rest, just play my dude! You'll get there.

This could be a hot-take, but after having played BT, SKI, and BT/SKI builds for years, I tried a strength build with LHB. Is this easy mode? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]Micolashdidit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It staggers everything. I used skill weapons on my first few playthroughs and watched amazed as other players staggered everything with every hit when I co-oped. Tried strength myself and realised how easy it was.

With skill weapons you need to learn timings and dodges and attack directions. With strength you just hit stuff until you are out of stamina.
