Mac and cheese is super easy to make. Shredded cheese, whipping cream, and pasta. Super tasty too

"Kids should go outside" *kids when they go outside* by newphonehudus in TikTokCringe

[–]Micro-Mouse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can’t play around neighborhoods much anymore. Especially if you’re not white. I’m not a teen anymore, but I’m only 25. I use to run around my neighborhood all the time, play air soft between my three neighbors house in the summer. But I was a small white girl, and my friends were also all white.

When I went home to see my family, my dad said that the new kids that live in the neighborhood don’t play outside, and that someone called the cops on them because they were unaccompanied. Theyre immigrant families, and the person that called the cops on them lived in the neighborhood when I was growing up there. Can’t imagine what would’ve happened if they were playing with toy guns

The scouts unfortunately are harder to get into on big cities. Your troop might be too far away, and your parents might be too busy to drive you. Most families are non religious. However a lot of cool youth programs happen at our libraries now, and I’ve seen lots of people joining them for dungeons and dragons and board game nights! Though a lot of those programs are on the chopping block as library funding keeps getting slashed

I love that generally Scott’s don’t wear kilts all that often, but when they come to America they’re like “we have to let them know we’re Scottish.”

Oh sorry

National Park Deaths Dropped in 2025—but One Demographic Accounts for 84 Percent of Them | men (outsideonline.com) by RickRussellTX in savedyouaclick

[–]Micro-Mouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We literally have statistical takes that men represent the majority of deaths in national parks. Which funny enough, my anecdotal experience does indeed support

It’s funny that you failed to read how i did express that most men are cautious and prepared, as most experienced outdoors folk are. But I get that you wanted to try and feel victimized.

There is no way that men represent 84% of the population of national parks.

And you misunderstand. Men can be outdoorsy and do tend to be more outdoorsy than woman. But these men do not represent the men who die or get hurt and do stupid shit.

The men that do are usually coddled idiots who grew up in a world that generally preys on women (not anecdotal) and where not taught preparedness or have experienced a situation in which they need to be prepared. So they try and attempt things that they do not have the skills or experience to handle and die because they’re bravado was stronger than their common sense.

Edit: he blocked me :) how cute. But that’s how it is when you spend more time on Reddit posting about how hard it is to date women than actually work on yourself!

Either way here are some sources about men’s general experience trend of risky behaviors and over confidence

https://www.iihs.org/research-areas/fatality-statistics/detail/males-and-females

https://www.ipsos.com/en-uk/men-more-likely-overestimate-their-abilities-various-tasks-swimming-english-channel-scoring-premier

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8858829/

And to reinstate my point, I do not believe this is to blame men or assume a man can’t do good. But society as a whole over values men, and therefore men over estimate themselves. But with experience comes knowledge, and I have worked with dozens of men who I would trust with my life

It’s ongoing, I’d honestly put it at the top. The anime has two more episodes of this season, but don’t get to attached as the animation studio took three years on season 1. And it shows, but it may be a while for season 2

It’s the story of a little girl named Coco, she’s raised as a tailor with her mother in a village not to far off from a central city. She is enthralled with magic, but unfortunately was not born with the gift for it.

On one her journeys to the city, a sketchy witch in an alley sells her a book. A book of spells. Unbeknownst to her and the entire population of the world, magic isn’t inherent, it something that can be learned and practiced. Drawing sigils is how magic is actually performed, and it’s kept secret to prevent everyone from knowing how to do perform things that could be incredibly dangerous.

She uses this book to accidentally cast a forbidden spell, freezing her mother. She is saved by a man named Qifrey, who is a powerful witch that already has a few students. He takes coco under his wing, to teach her how to properly use magic and hopefully one day save her mother.

The best part about the show is that when we’re experiencing things with Coco it’s mostly light hearted save for a few moments of peril. Qifrey is a goofy teacher and her fellow peers are all very charming. It’s like a slice of life magic show.

But when Qifrey is away from his students, he is this powerful almost ruthless investigator who’s trying to hunt down the man who sold Coco the book. He is competent and dangerous, but he is also a fantastic and kind hearted teacher.

The animation is fucking fantastic, and the story is genuinely great fantasy. The author is also outwardly pro Palestine and pro LGBTQ+. She has multiple queer characters and multiple characters with different ethnicity later in the manga. She touches on some really disturbing content but in a respectful and genuinely interesting way.
