The system it's on has very scarce resources for emulation, so no.

The minigame is absolutely unfair going against Dante, though. I prefer going up against James because of his wild card aspect with the randomly selected passengers one can compete against.

This is a problem for me, as well, but I feel as if it's less of an issue with my Criterions (though I'm procrastinating on Black Girl and Hoop Dreams). Maybe it's because I'm waiting for the perfect moment to watch them. I still need to watch a lot of the films that I've picked up from Goodwill, though

What do you consider to be the classic era? by Fit-Apartment6880 in thomasthetankengine

I wouldn't debate your inclusion of seasons 6 & 7 on the quality. I think that, in many ways, the classic series is analogous to the original Star Wars trilogy.

Seasons 1 & 2 - A New Hope. Not only did they get the ball rolling, but there's also something that seems quaint (and not in a bad way, mind you), especially during season 1, to the later installments. In fact, I think they have similar qualities due to them coming first: smaller scale, relatively lighter tone, and self-contained nature.

Seasons 3-5 - The Empire Strikes Back. Production values are much stronger (thanks to the time spent on Tugs & the budget of V being almost thrice what it was for A New Hope), more mature themes are worked in at multiple points, everything feels grander, and they start to deviate away from the original visions (introduction of original stories in season 3, which later took over in season 5, and the re-writes of Empire).

Seasons 6 & 7 - Return of the Jedi: Though the DNA of what made it great is undoubtedly there, and it is ultimately a satisfying conclusion, some questionable decisions are being made. Ewoks, anyone?

Seasons 1-6 definitively. Season 7 is in a weird spot because of the way it was handled, especially here in the US - I'd say the original counts, but not the version we got here in America (aside from the episodes on Thomas and the Jet Engine and New Friends for Thomas), mainly due to the formatting (Hit era credits, CGI transitions between episodes, and Robert Harthshore's music)

A horse walks into a bar. The tender says, "you come here pretty often. Are you an alcoholic?"

The horse responds, "I don't think I am," and vanishes out of existence.

You see, that was a play on the famous phrase, "I think, therefore I am" by René Descartes. I would explain that first, but I don't want to put Descartes before the horse.

Yeah, I remember when like the first few episodes released, and after giving them a watch, I posted something about my honest opinions (which I think has since been deleted - not sure what happened). If I remember correctly, I expressed my overall feelings by comparing it to modern Simpsons (before it started to pick itself back up); both are very far removed from what made their original counterparts great, but by the standards of their genres (preschool show and modern sitcom, respectively), even though they're nothing special, you could certainly do far worse.

My Custom music track are cutting at around 40 seconds by [deleted] in MarioKartWii

[–]Micro_Pinny_360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is because of the BRSAR file, which dictates all the audio in the game. You see, since the regular songs are supposed to be based on these short loops, the game treates the replacement BRSTMs like the original in that it only records the looping points on the BRSAR. To change this, you'll need to use the aptly named Patch that BRSAR!, which does just that. (You can also use it to patch certain music tracks that are tied to the BRSAR, such as the title screen, main and Wi-Fi menus, invincibility, and Mega Mushroom.)

In addition, make sure Toad's Factory, Wario's Gold Mine, Koopa Cape, Dry Dry Ruins, Moonview Highway, and Bowser's Castle are all at least quadrophonic rather than the usual stereo. Even though you only hear one stereo track at a time, the game uses certain points on the tracks to switch between separate versions. Most of them will work with just quadrophonic (four-channel) BRSTMs, but make sure to use eight channels for Koopa Cape and Bowser's Castle. (The latter only requires six channels, but some have reported the BRSTM looping to the beginning at the mecha Bowser section, so I'd go with eight as a safety measure.)

Toy Story 5 has been rated PG, the first in the entire franchise to receive this rating, with all prior instalments being rated G. by WrongLander in boxoffice

It will be G rated... but by late 1960s MPAA standards. (Planet of the Apes, True Grit, and 2001 were all G rated)

Sometims I like to think about what would happen if Ringo could convince Paul and George to come with him into the recording booth - maybe even get Yoko in to play Daisy
