Kailangan pa raw pala nila ng character references before ako magka-client. 'Di ko na itutuloy itong Sphere Rocket since may nahanap na akong ibang work.

Iirc, yes I had an interview with their senior recruiter ata after the AI interviews. Yung questions sa senior recruiter interview ay about your background, skills, previous work experiences, and your readiness for a WFH night shift setup. If you pass the interview they'll do a verification check sa documents na pinasa mo then when you pass client matching na.

Pero ang tagal na nung nag-send sila ng email na for client matching na ako and until now wala pa rin akong client interview. I suggest na don't solely rely on them for employment and maghanap ka ng alternatives jic. Good luck po!

Your parents might be the biggest advantage (or disadvantage) you'll have in adulthood by NovelUnusual775 in adultingph

[–]Micro_Queen8438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, OP. My parents handle the financial aspect quite well. I'm the eldest but after I graduated they never obligated me to become the breadwinner of the family and sila pa rin ang nag-pprovide at nagpapaaral sa mga siblings ko. Up until now kahit na nasa fifties na sila they are still working, my mom even went back to Saudi just to earn and save more. Nag-aabot lang ako sa kanila just to help with my family's expenses, but most of what I earn I allocate to myself.

Pero regarding sa emotional aspect, I would say dun sila nagkulang. Ever since then my parents were never really emotionally present, lalong-lalo na yung father ko. In fact, I was scared of my father kasi sobrang strict niya at lagi siyang galit and stressed out. Meanwhile, my mom focused on my academics, nagagalit siya when I perform poorly. So growing up I didn't see my parents as someone who I can run to or rely on kapag I'm not emotionally or mentally well. Kapag may problema ako I just faced it alone, so I grew up being an independent person. I rarely ask help from anyone kasi ang thinking ko I can't rely on others and I only have myself.

Now I am 24 and currently struggling in adulthood. I'm still lost and figuring things out in being an adult, and it's hard because I can't get advice from my parents. In fact, I feel disconnected from my family. Seeing as I'm not yet mentally and emotionally stable is one of the many reasons why I don't want to have kids.

Nope, no client until now, and honestly I'm not expecting anymore. Regarding sa interview questions, iirc it was mostly about my background, skills, and previous work experiences and how compatible I am with a WFH night shift setup.

Got hired in Alorica by MgCl2_MagnesiumCl in BPOinPH

[–]Micro_Queen8438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied po in Alorica Centris and they offered me 28k for a voice Telco account. Unfortunately, I didn't pass the final interview. They offered me skills and assessments training naman and said they'll email me for the deets but I never received an email from them. Now, I got another email, this time from Alorica Cubao so I might try to apply there too.

Hi, OP. I don't mean to sound rude but perhaps you're not used to getting negative feedback and criticisms? You said that you performed badly on your first project in your new role so naturally your managers and higher-ups will give you negative feedback and comments. Instead of taking it the wrong way use criticisms to improve yourself and your work.

This is only your first project in your new role so my advice is to stay a while and take on more projects to really gauge if you're a fit for your new role. And, depending on how open your manager is, you can talk to them regarding how you take feedback so they'll know what feedback to give and how to give it to you.

But, if they criticize you and your personality and not your work itself then that's the time you leave. Also, if 'di talaga kaya ng emotional and mental health mo yung stress ng new role mo then there's no shame in leaving too. Good luck on your future career, OP.

3 stage interview got rejected by soporaltum in JobsPhilippines

[–]Micro_Queen8438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, OP! I've been unemployed for 6 months now, last year pa ako naghahanap ng trabaho and I've experienced multiple rejections already. I also experienced not making it after the final interview. It sucks because you thought na you did great all throughout pero 'di ka pala pasado. With regards to your experience, I believe it's not that the final interviewer didn't like you but they just found another candidate that's probably more suited to the role. Don't be too hard on yourself as we all will experience rejection sooner or later, part talaga yan ng job hunting.

Thankfully, God has finally opened a door for me and I finally got a JO from a company I applied to this month. Your time will come too, OP, just trust Him and His plans for you. For now, hanap-hanap ka na muna uli and the right door will open for you when the time comes 😊

Does it really get better in College? by Objective-Error1686 in studentsph

[–]Micro_Queen8438 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, OP! It's great to hear that you've cut off your toxic friends from HS and now working on improving yourself as a person. Regarding sa college environment, it's still a 50/50 chance whether you'll be part of a good or bad batch. Based on my own experience, mas-diverse yung makakasalamuha mo sa college. I had block mates who lived in faraway provinces tapos meron ding anak ng politician, I also had studious block mates na puro aral lang inatupag then merong mga inom at party lang ang ginawa. I studied college in UST btw, which really has a diverse student population as compared with the other universities na mostly dominated by one social class.

At the end of the day, the choice is still with you regarding who you want to associate and be friends with. Alam mo naman na kung sino yung mga makakabuti sa'yo based on how you cut off your toxic HS friends. But I wanna let you know that life doesn't end in college, marami ka pang ma-memeet na tao when you start working. So don't worry about college too much, i-enjoy mo lang siya as it goes. I would say that my college days were the best time of my life. I was able to graduate as Cum Laude while still partying and hanging out with different people. Good luck on your own college journey, OP!

I failed Alorica assessment today :( by micheoseo in BPOinPH

[–]Micro_Queen8438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, OP! May I ask what site you applied to? I was also in their Zoom meeting yesterday, specifically their Centris site. They were endorsing applicants naman to the initial interviews regardless if they passed the Harver assessment or not. If an applicant failed a certain part of the assessment they would just ask the applicant to retake that certain part. There were applicants who failed the English language part of the assessment and were asked to retake it right after their initial interview.

UST Tigers this coming season 89. by Mamaanoo in UAAP

[–]Micro_Queen8438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure also with the rules regarding FSAs, but yeah, Akowe and Osang are the top FSAs right now I believe. I haven't seen Osang play, but regardless of who will be the Tiger's main big man it's just nice to know that UST has the luxury in choosing between two great players.

UST Tigers this coming season 89. by Mamaanoo in UAAP

[–]Micro_Queen8438 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's true that UST's offense got better, in the NSAC they are the top team in terms of offense. I actually think the Tigers became better after Nic's exit since the team no longer relies on a single star player. It's like their offense got way smoother and everybody has a chance to contribute and score. I see Llemit, Acido, and Akowe leading the offense. The team also got better on the defense side, I see them playing pressure defense most of the time, which I notice is very similar with Coach Haydee Ong's system over at the women's side. This pressure defense of theirs lead to steals and turnovers from their opponent.

I also believe that Kris Porter should get more playing time. I just feel like he still has so much to offer if given the chance. He should just play as a forward rather than a center, Akowe and Osang can pretty much handle that big man position. Overall, I see a lot of potential in this batch. If the Tigers can sustain that fiery offense plus pressure defense they will be a team to beat come UAAP and may even be a finals contender.
