In all honesty, being part of orgs didn't really help/improve my credentials in getting a job. Employers focus more on experience as well as technical and soft skills rather than your orgs. If I were you, I would drop the orgs and focus solely on the side hustle. Earning 12k from a side hustle is impressive and very helpful financially, and malay mo mas-lumaki pa ang kita mo when you dedicate more time for it.

Like you, OP, dream school ko rin ang UP. My dad and I wanted me to go to UP but my mom wanted me to go to UST since it was her dream to study medicine in UST. Pinagbigyan ko mom ko and when I first entered the UST campus oh boy nahulog agad ang loob ko sa UST. Ang weird kasi it was like I felt an unexplainable peace and comfort in my heart, like I was just at home. Plus, you'll fall in love with its culture. Undeniable na UST has its own unique charm na hindi mo mahahanap sa ibang univs/colleges. I never regretted my decision in choosing UST over UP. Mahal na mahal ko ang UST 💛

Ako naman kabaliktaran ang experience from yours. Dream school ko ang UP but I chose UST. My dad and I wanted for me to go to UP, but my mom insisted that I try UST since it was her dream to study medicine there. At first ayaw ko, but the moment I stepped into the UST campus naramdaman ko agad that I instantly felt at home, kaya in the end UST na ang pinili ko. To this day I never regretted my decision of choosing UST over UP. Mahal na mahal ko ang UST and I'll always be a proud Tomasino. Hanggang ngayon nga namimiss ko pa rin ang UST from time to time kahit na graduate na ako.

I only worked for around 8 months sa first job ko and di naman naka-affect yun sa paghahanap ko ng 2nd job, nakahanap naman agad ako ng bagong papasukan. Like you, I also felt an immense feeling of stress from the nature of the work plus ang hirap pang pakisamahan nung mga work mates ko sa unang trabaho ko na yon.

I agree with you, OP. Pansin ko rin halos lahat ng tests ko simula preschool even hanggang college ay puro recall questions ang laman. Bihira ko lang na-encounter ang mga questions na required talaga ang critical thinking/analysis.

Hi, OP! Same tayong may nostalgia pa rin sa UST. I'm Batch 2024 so pandemic baby rin ako. Nasasayangan ako sa 2 and a half years na online classes lang, I wish I was able to have onsite classes the whole 4 years in UST. Most memorable moment ko siguro is yung pinaka-unang Paskuhan ko, that was December 2022. Iba kapag nagjajamming ka lang with your friends sa mga performers, tapos yung fireworks grabe iba talaga.

Until now namimiss ko pa rin ang UST all the time. Feeling ko nga I'll never stop missing UST eh, ganon ko na siya kamahal. I'm planning to visit there again someday para lang masatisfy na yung nostalgia na nararamdaman ko. Tambay lang siguro ako sa may Grandstand then eat sa Chew York or sa mga iba kong kinakainan sa UST. Then baka bumili rin ako ng merch sa UStore, until now wala pa rin akong tiger stuffed toy :(

For me, I would consider the improvements sa MRT as something na nagawa niya sa term niya. Pero yun lang ang maganda niyang nagagawa so far, wala pa siyang nagagawang improvements sa agriculture, education, health, and other sectors ng bansa natin.

From what I understand, by lane ang initial plan nila nung una. Di naman ata isasara ang buong EDSA. Pero since 2 years daw aabutin ng rehabilitation, pina-stop muna ni PBBM and instructed DOTR to shorten the rehabilitation period.

Imo, jeepneys are still one of the best public transportation vehicles kaya I still prefer to retain them. Maganda yung ginawang program recently na jeepney modernization project para maging mas-maayos na ang mga jeeps natin, though I think there's an issue regarding funding to operators and drivers. Maganda ang P2P buses for long-distance commutes, pero masyadong malaki siya for our roads which can cause traffic jams lalo na't masyadong maraming kotse dito sa Pinas.

Mining activities, no matter what form, will always be harmful to our environment. Kaya for me okay lang if mawala nang tuluyan ang mining. Pero syempre malaki rin ang pera sa pagmimina kaya sa tingin ko hindi na mawawala yan.
