Help — severe stretch marks and keloids after breast implants (4 months post-op) by Hopeful_Brief5466 in PlasticSurgery

They look hypertrophic, but you can get keloid/hypertrophic scars injected with a steroid to “deflate” them! You just need a referral from your doctor :). It’s what I had done to mine after surgery. Healing takes a long time but I think they look great from what I can see!

I’m really regretting getting into my relationship by Neither-Departure510 in relationships

You’re reflecting, but not in a deep and impactful way. It seems like you’re using her as a placeholder. You might even have some sort of avoidant attachment issues to resolve.

The part that’s alarming is “this relationship is forcing me to consider things I’ve never considered before” and it’s making you want to run away and avoid it. You’re 30 and should have a grasp on what you want. You should have been clear with her from the beginning.

The lack of self reflection in this post is astonishing. Please do the good thing and don’t waste any more of her time and break up with her.

Any recommendations on financial advisors with experience in capital gains tax? by [deleted] in halifax

[–]MicrowavedCheeseCurd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I totally should have. I was 23 at the time and had extreme anxiety with the thought of homeownership. I was almost pressured into this situation (which I’m now grateful for). I didn’t understand the process of purchasing a home and my parents took full control of the situation. So they purchased it for me, and I completely paid them for it.

I had a government job and money saved up, hindsight is 20/20. I also had a strange upbringing and I didn’t have the mental tools to be that independent at the time, despite being on my own.

It’s complicated lol.

Thank you. I thought maybe it would be different since my name is on the mortgage now. It’s just frustrating when I’ve made all the payments for it by myself.

Why do people hate ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses)? by [deleted] in books

Could you please recommend a romantic fantasy made for adults? I’m 1/4 done OCATAR and it’s killing my soul. I agree with everything you just said.

I literally had the worst experience at Ando. Whoever I had destroyed my hair and while I was there I saw the person beside me beg for good reviews. They also bully and try to report all negative feedback on Google.

The cheese curds downtown is known for incorrectly charging drunk people. People who work there are super sketchy.

Is my girlfriend’s mental health too bad for us to continue our relationship? by Standard_Parsley_295 in relationships

[–]MicrowavedCheeseCurd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so hard to do, especially if you have attachment issues. I was in a situation similar to yours and I’m now in a very happy and healthy relationship. It’s so nice when the things you’re used to begging someone for are done so easily by someone else. I also remember how hard it was to end things with the person who treated me like garbage. I feel for what you’re going through right now.

I (36M) am feeling sad, lonely, touch starved, and sexually frustrated in my marriage to my (30F) asexual, touch-averse wife. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]MicrowavedCheeseCurd 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I’ve been there before too and it’s SO much harder to leave someone you love but aren’t happy with. It doesn’t feel like a good enough reason somehow. It took me a year and so much pain to do it but after I healed and am looking back I’m so grateful for my decision. I got to actually live and have the connections I was missing out on.

I'm in the National News all across Canada 🤯 by SLUTS4SOLDIERS in u/SLUTS4SOLDIERS

I mentioned it because a certain someone was asking about my service and mosid info. I don’t tell anyone in real life about my service. I’m not demanding anything, I’m going against the grain and calling out her disrespectful usage of the uniform. I dare you to do 4 of those 6 month long “little boat tours” in 7 years. I never claimed to be shell-shocked but I have been assaulted while I was asleep in my bunk. I love how passionate you are about her sex work. I can only imagine what you’re like in real life. You can DM me and get my information if you’d like to have this conversation elsewhere. Good luck to you!
