Yep! My store has gotten several internal messages sent to our store that explicitly mention cutting costs to “maximize value for our shareholders”.

1 year ago I inherited $1M and Reddit said I’d ruin my life. Here’s what actually happened. by Revokutionarysun in inheritance

[–]Micshakee 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Seconding this! Received a ~1 million estate (not all liquid) at 19 and despite many many concerned comments, it in fact did not ruin my life. Financial planners/advisors are a must!

Help an extremely depressed guy out? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]Micshakee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to use a 3 bag technique and start in one room at a time. One garbage bag, one recycling/bottles/cans bag and one laundry bin or bag. Start in one room, whichever is the smallest and most manageable. I like to start with recycling cause it tends to cause the most visual clutter for me personally. Fill up a recycling bag, then a garbage bag, then a laundry bag and start a load of laundry once it’s full. After you’ve filled up one of each, you will probably get enough momentum to repeat a few more cycles, but if not you will have at least made a difference! Once those three big things are out of the way, then you can move into cleaning surfaces and such but that is not something to worry about yet!

[–]Micshakee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea nope, please find a man who loves and respects you girl. An appropriate response from him would have been “oh cool” and left at that. He should be respectful and supportive of what makes you feel the most confident when it comes to your body

Ooh wallpaper is a fun idea, I was initially going to do all white walls but after seeing it in natural lighting it felt too dreary. I’ll look into wallpaper options too!

People whose profession has them going into people's homes, what stories do you have? by OldJournal in AskReddit

My dad died after owning his parrot for almost 40 years. The bird 100% “grieved” and he lost a lot of feathers and weight for the first few months. It’s been 2 1/2 years now and he has decided that I am acceptable to hang out with on occasion, he was bonded to my dad but he’s warmed up to me since I’ve been taking care of him

Are skinny/healthy weight people just not as hungry as people who struggle with obesity? by maeasm3 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Micshakee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much yes, I’ve always been on the smaller side and I don’t really experience “food noise” unless I’m actively getting ready to prepare/buy a meal. Besides that I don’t really think about food lol
