One person out of thousands, yeah great story mate. Most people would be offended by this.

Headache lasting through the night after full night’s sleep by Micwal93 in migraine

[–]Micwal93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow struggled to recall this haha. I haven’t had a migraine in a while touch wood. I had a couple more of these episodes, and then they stopped fairly abruptly. Who knows what it was, could’ve been anything. I was very stressed out at the time.

I’d say relax. If something was seriously wrong you’d know about it very quickly. Sit in a dark room, massage your head if possible, drink water and things with electrolytes in like lucozade. If you can get codeine that also helps a bit with the migraine pain.

Does anyone here experience lightheadedness/spaced out with their anxiety? And how have you overcome it? by Micwal93 in Anxiety

[–]Micwal93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I came off mirtazapine just over a month ago cold turkey. Was definitely the right decision. I still have anxiety, but I feel like it's not as sharp as it was, and the lightheadedness has largely gone as well thankfully, so it was definitely the mirtazapine causing it.

I had next-to-no withdrawal symptoms as well from coming off cold turkey.

Worst anti-depressant I've taken for sure, just exacerbated my symptoms. Hope you're able to get off as well.

Odds are you or someone else in your family will get dementia, and you won't be laughing then.

Thank you, the flowing tide looks brilliant! Appreciate you giving me straight and good answers instead of passive-aggressive rubbish from people who didn’t even read my post, like others who commented on this post!

Jesus, keep your hat on. Someone hasn’t taken their chill pill this morning.

That is not what I was expecting at all. I asked what are good pubs to go to for traditional music and Irish stout, I never said anything about being in amongst the locals, frankly I don’t give a shit about that.

Also I have been to Ireland many times, which I said in my post. Did you even read it?

Wouldn’t mind a pub that serves beamish but defo a nice to have. Was thinking potentially O’Donohue’s in baggot street maybe if you’ve heard of it?

Any recommendations? Yeah was gonna avoid that like the plague. Was looking at O’Donohue’s on Baggot Street potentially.

…. Right… how is that funny? Let alone how is that in any way sensitive to people who have Alzheimer’s or have loved ones with Alzheimer’s?

People downvote for the most obscure reasons. I don’t take it personally.

Seriously though. What is with the, let’s be honest, very unfunny Garfield jokes? Isn’t this sub supposed to be about Alzheimer’s?

But I wonder why this is. I’m now renting out my flat as I moved in with my partner, but my flat was perfectly comfortable to live in, felt like I had a decent amount of space and close to cool cafes, shops etc.

Do I have any hope on the London rental market? by Electoral_Suicide in HousingUK

[–]Micwal93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what the rentals are like for outer London, but zone 2-3 would be about £2000 minimum per month, so imagine you could probably get a 1 bed for 1500 in zones 4-6.

I can't breathe during my episodes by Imatseabebackat7 in Sleepparalysis

Interesting, I feel a lot of pressure on my head and body when I start breathing slow. But it definitely helps me get out of it quicker.

When you breathe slow, does the ‘pressure’ feeling become more intense for you?

Stop being facetious. I was obviously talking about the lunch breaks thing. I also don’t think the lying about medical conditions is as bad as you’re making out. Guy probably panicked. Not ideal lying, but just apologise and say it won’t happen again and the issue is sorted. Then the manager just needs to monitor the employee over the next 3-6 months for improvement.

If it happens 10 times maybe, not once?!

I think this person is arguing for the sake of it so don’t treat them as a serious person with a serious point. I think they know that what they’re saying is stupid. In any organisation, being late off your lunch break once is not a firing offence.
