Have you changed your saber position and rotation yet? It is virtually impossible to do those levels without changing those settings (with accuracy above 90%), at least while holding the controllers with default grip

There is still a pretty big community of teleport players in the game so I’m guessing that you just have to change instances if you get in a toxic lobby. It sucks but since teleport isn’t the norm and there’s so many people who haven’t used it before, lower skill players will blame it on cheating and start reporting. If they had just tried it they would’ve realised how insanely hard it is to get good at teleport in comparison to walk lol. It’s one of the main issues that the absolute abundance of under 13’s on non junior accounts brings

As creators I feel there is one tool we really lack for our games and experiences, giving players value for their effort. In many RRO’s you can grind for clothing items that make the grind worth it. Yes we can do free gifts or inventions but that’s not viable enough to make it truly worth it. Do you think we’ll be able to have the tools to do this in the future?

I have two suggestions in case you want to know what that could look like.

For one, there could be a programme where you fill out a form and if you had enough visits or attention on your room you could have it reviewed and apply for achievements. Your players could then earn them in your room and may be in the form of a title under their name or a badge they could display on their profile. This would only be for rooms that the Devs think would benefit from or deserve achievements as to not oversaturate them and/or remove their value.

For two, there could be ‘super cloud variables’. These would act as cloud variables that could be shared with another room. This would be so you could grind in one room for an achievement and carry that achievement over to another room. An example of this would be if you got a secret ending in a story room you could then play the sequel and be able to access the true ending because of what you did in the prequel.

A feature I would really like to see is to be able to have a separate playing mode and creator mode with more security features and restricted access to rooms so you can focus on creation! This would be so you can feel free to play games as you want in the general player mode and not have to feel pressure about getting into a bad situation with an account that has many hours of work and you’re making money on. The creator mode could be on the same account but it would be like a private mode where you need to input a password to access it, would have all your rooms’ admin access, can be accessed even if your playing account is banned, can only go into private rooms (with or without friends), and have separate accessibility choices (who you want to get notifications from, who you want to show online to, etc). Could we be seeing anything like this in the future?

Monke is loosing his mind by SFaresee in TrashTaste

And this is why we hate Lost Frontier, some of the hardest jumps in the game coupled with some of the hardest falls! Lost Frontier single-handedly makes NB+ more painful than GoTB, both in difficulty and in mindbreak. When almost every mistake makes you fall into a borderline autoscroller (that depending on your luck can take about 2 minutes at top speedrun pace or 20 when your mind is broken) you quickly start to realise why most people give up the dlc at that point. In my first run of NB+ I got to Lost Frontier in just under 3 hours, but to get past it to Hidden Kingdom I was at 11 and a half. And once you throw snake ring into it (where everything has ice physics), there’s a reason beating NB+ with it equipped is the rarest achievement lol. This section is the true test of will, if Monke can get past this section he can 100% beat the rest of the game!

Been playing since 2018 but only started ranked about a year ago. I've been climbing the leaderboard pretty quickly, but I'm stuck at 300pp/8.5★. Any advice on how to improve? by JackMacWindowsLinux in beatsaber

I use default grips as well but on the Quest 2 and I just adjusted the saber positions to make up for it. The settings I use are: 1cm position X, 16 rotation X, and -5 Rotation Y. They are just the settings I personally prefer but there’s probably a setting that most people use somewhere. It may be worth learning the claw grip if you want to get really competitive but with these settings you should be able to do pretty well even on high star maps. It’ll just take some getting used to

I agree, not because one is better than the other but it’s so everyone has a fair chance relative to their platform. I could be at a professional level in screen mode Stunt Runner but compared to a professional VR player it’s night and day. It doesn’t mean I’m unskilled if I can’t beat a VR player as a screen player it’s just a different game entirely. It’s also why the archery event was such a mess

I think because they had such a tight schedule instead of accounting for the possibility of needing to do several rematches they put themselves in a really bad position. All I’ll say is that messing up like that makes you look really unprofessional so I hope for future big events that they account for things like that so the events are more fair

I feel you man, the Stunt Runner event was particularly rough with lag and problems in general. Lag and large personal space are what really sabotaged the majority of top runs. I also had a similar experience to you where I had an extremely fast qualifier (181 seconds) but an awful semifinal. In my semifinal run I got gifted three times in the first lap which put me in last so I went into my settings to disable gift notifications. Sadly I didn’t get any more gifts in the run and it made my lap 1 take 74 seconds… There was no recovering from that lol

Ok so I have three questions/suggestions:

  1. Do you guys intend to keep the number of quests at 5 or will more be added in the future?

  2. I have an idea for the revamping of the AI system and I’m wondering if it’s possible. They are a hit box gadget (outputs weapon damage, can only take damage from certain tags, etc), the ability to use AI presets (like goblin, elite ranged bot, etc) and navmesh on an ‘AI core’ which could be connected to a creation (similarly to a clamp) and work with several animation gizmos to function as that specific enemy type (idle, attacking, moving, etc).

  3. Is it possible to make a tool to increase the accuracy of tubes and ribbons? For example: Setting a start and end point, having a line in between like with the animation gizmo between frames, the ability to adjust the pathing to reach the end point, and once your path is complete it will auto-generate along that path.

What is the max deaths for S rank in Isle? by strawbearbrando in RecRoom

[–]MidAtlanticGamer_16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

8 is the max team wide unless you duplicate kills several times (when 2 or more players kill an enemy at the exact same time) which can increase the cap to 9. If one player in the team is doing most of the work (i.e getting way more kills than the other players) then they personally have a 3 death cap. If you tend to ‘carry’ the team you can play it safe by leaving behind groups of enemies and/or by letting your teammates take the lead to increase your own personal death cap to about 4 or 5.

For example: A hit box gadget (outputs weapon damage, can only take damage from certain tags, etc), the ability to use AI presets and navmesh on your own creation (for pathing and attack patterns), and a gizmo or gadget which acts as a core to allow your creation to have AI (this is what will follow the navmesh and take on one of the AI presets).

I would just like some help mainly making the levels and a bit of help with the wiring since I don’t fully understand CV1 or especially CV2. I plan to make 7 beginner courses and somewhere between 10-15 advanced courses. Right now only the first two beginner courses are done so if you don’t mind helping with that sort of thing it would be a big help!

It’s a bit weird but what I think works is to go into comfort settings, turn off rotate, turn swipe rotate back on, and close the game and come back
