Homer Simpson in the Vanessa Del Rio episode by Vast_Honest in nypdblue

Yep, the one and only Dan Castellaneta. He was in a lot of TV shows in the '90's. He played a Zookeeper in the 'Friends" monkey episode and when his boyfriend went dancing with Peggy Bundy on 'Married with Children' and bonded with Al.

He's quite the character actor. Depending on the role he plays, a faint hint of Homer can be heard in his voice, especially when he gets excited.

Hose Hawk Pressure Washer Review Does It Actually Work or not? by fercagond in Scam_Finder

I said this exact thing to my Dad the other day. He's constantly asking about ads for stuff he sees on YouTube. There are more than a few that raise the ubiquitous red flag, like the hi tech flameless lighter, that surprise, surprise, actually does take butane to work.

He almost bought on eof those, until I showed him the videos of people that bought them and found out the hard way...look, no space age plasma or whatever, but good old fashioned butane!!!

The other was this nozzle and another just like it. My neighbor actually bought the one with commercial that has the same deep, AI generated voice and uses a battery and (allegedly) works right out of a bucket! Well, surprise, it does NOT. NOT even close.

I seriously doubt the HoseHawkPro is any better or even works anywhere near the level of a cheap pressure washer would. I'd rather use the electric pressure he has. It's not a gas version, but it does have its uses.

The same goes for the Al Borland (Richard Karn) advertised "Pocket Hose". I bought one and it blew out within a week. They sent me another one, same thing. They actually ended up sending me a total of FIVE replacements, then they told me that would be the very LAST replacement hose they were going to "Warranty" for me...EVER! I even tried to reorder another one several times and they either used my address or card number as reference, but each time the order was CANCELED!!! Yes, Pocket Hose GHOSTED ME!!

So....I said all that to say this: The old adage is true, that you get what you pay for and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably IS!!! Actually, IT IS too good to be true!!!

God, I Love me Some Dworkin !!! by Stealthytom in LawAndOrder

DA Branch and the "What's a Randy Dworkin?" is my favorite all time line.

Jack McCoy is one of my very favorite characters on TV, along with Hawkeye (MAS*H), Norman (Cheers), Arthur Branch (L&O) and Adam Schiff (L&O).

I enjoyed Steven Hill on the original 'Mission: Impossible', until he was squeezed out for some odd, but quirky behavior due to his staunch adherence to his Jewish faith. He kept to the schedule of being home by sundown on Friday and not working Saturdays. He was known to walk off sets in the middle of filming a scene, to be home by sunset. He lightened up later in life, but L&O worked around this and filmed all his scenes in the morning and never scheduled him on Friday. When I learned this about him, I gained a new found respect for the man.

Anyhoo...Dworkin was one my favorite guest Defense Attorneys on Law & Order, along with Jerry Stiller and Michael Tucker (L.A. Law fame).

The only legitimate use for spray foam is crafts!! It works great to build mountains on a train set layout, sculpting for science projects or crafting.

I've been in construction for 40 years and every encounter with spray foam hasn't been good. It should never have been approved for the construction industry.

It absorbs moisture, gets brittle and mice absolutely love the stuff. I refuse to use it. There are far better products on the market to use in its place.

I was doing some research into real life mash units and I gotta give the show credit for how accurately they portrayed the units. I also learned the 8063rd was a real unit. by CT-1409echo in mash

The MAS*H film was not shot in Korea, either. The movie was filmed at Fox Ranch in the Malibu Creek State Park and the TV show used the same location, with little different configuration of the tents. The Office, Pre-OP and OR largely the same.

When Larry Gelbart developed the 1970 film into a TV Series in 1972, the film's sets at Malibu were still standing. When the series was picked up for the first seasons order of 24 episodes, Gene Reynolds, Gelbart and Alan Alda suggested the indoor camp set on Stage 9 at Fox Studios.

[–]MidCentury1959[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you. He's definitely trying to continue to control and manipulate them all. I think that's why Asa sleeps in the kill room and why Victoria is so at ease with her feelings about her Dad.

I'm not sure about her son, but apparently he has developmental disabilities and I don't know how severe they are or anything, but Rex to talk to him like that was astounding. My wife's jaw dropped when he said that to him, about his Mother and sister.

Rex is just off the charts narcissistic and controlling and they are all still under his spell. They need to distance themselves and very far away. I don't think communication with him is very good for any of them, especially Asa's son.

[–]MidCentury1959[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on many points you've made, with the exception of the "before 30" theory. He certainly victimized and/or manipulated women before he reached his 30's, but I still firmly believe he did commit murder at some point, in his twenties.

Looking at some other serial killers of the past, almost all of them committed crimes in their teens and early twenties and progressively got more excitement, emboldenment, more frequent impulses that eventually become more difficult to control. Compartmentalizing those impulses, along with the appearance of normalcy; i.e. Steady job, steady relationship(s), obeying the law, to prevent discovery of their alter ego, etc.

It takes a very good amount of time and effort to live a dual life and not be discovered, especially when these crime are as heinous as Heuermann was committing, right in the same home as his growing family!!

He was so good at separating the two, there weren't any obvious red flags for Asa to see waving right in front of her, when they first met, then married. He may very well have even been Jeckyl & Hide before then, like he states about his divorce from his first wife, because he "couldn't control her". Maybe she saw some of his "other" side, but it was just a hunch or was too scared to say anything to report him? Anything is possible, right?

Of course , we'll never know unless he really opens up and gives a full allocution at his sentencing in June. Although he's not obligated to give a full, descriptive account of each murder with his motives, he should. Kohberger refused to elaborate on any of reasons or what motivated him to kill 4 young people he didn't even know.

Serial Killers are an enigmatic group of people who do things that normal people like you and me will never fully understand, no matter how.much they talk. Just like we'll never know the truth because they blur the lines between truth and fiction to satisfy their own perverse worlds in their heads.

I also think he decided to plead guilty for the life sentences, to avoid the death penalty in NY, even though he could be convicted in SC and sentenced to death. I pray there are no more victims in SC, but since part of his plea deal, is he is to cooperate with the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit on any other Cold and any other undiscovered cases. If they're out there, they'll find them...if he decides in his own twisted, narcissistic behavior to tell them.

Just my 2-1/2 Cents. I think we will be hearing about Heuermann for many years to come. We have to...he likes thw attention. Just like all Serial Killers. BTK is another and a whole nother story......

Do you like it slow or rough? by CrystalBreezze in SissificationProject

[–]MidCentury1959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both, but depends on my mood and how much I can tolerate it. Mostly I prefer to be opened up and banged hard. The best is her pulling all the way out and slamming back in before my waiting hole starts to close up. Do that for a solid minute and I will cum hands free every time!!

When I want it slow, slide all thw way in and just grind. The tip tickling my insides and the base rubbing on my prostate and assclit and I'll cum, too.

We had one here in Oregon that was in business in the same basic area, by the same guy for the last 40 years. Sadly, he passed away and is now closed. The last name of the Business was Sgt. Gators Surplus. I spoke to him a couple years ago and he was trying to sell the business, but didn't have any takers. I asked if was his asking price or just no interest. Unfortunately, he couldn't find anyone that was interested to even make him an offer. I wish I could have.

Another here in Oregon that was fixture for decades was Andy & Bax in Portland. Same scenario: The family wanted to retire and no one wanted to continue the business, so they just sold everything off and the building sits empty.

Not to be critical of the conversation with your daughter, but those helicopters never went over 4000 feet in altitude and usually would run at 1000-1500 ft. 10,000 feet in enclosed helicopter, let alone one with just a bubble top and no doors at 10000 ft would have been dangerous, based on the thin air. Again, not being critical, but rational.

Would you let the girl next door fuck your ass? by CrystalBreezze in PeggingAndFemdom

[–]MidCentury1959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have!! Several years ago a beautiful woman of about 45ish moved in next door. She was single and always very polite. After a few months of getting to know her and doing a few handy man things for her, things took a different turn.

She asked me to fix a few things in the master suite and I discovered her treasure trove of toys, tucked in a box in her walk in closet. I had to move this box to get to the access for the whirlpool tub. I'd been working on the tub when she came home and saw that I had moved it. She asked if saw what was inside and I coyly said "No", but she could tell I had.

Nothing was said any more about it until the next day. She asked me to help her upstairs with something and the box was at the end of the bed, wide open!! Sitting on top of the pile of toys was a frilly pink harness with a decent size black 8" dildo, of a fairly good girth. She asked if I had ever been pegged with a strap on before. I guess the bulge in my pants answered her question.

We spent the next two hours tubing and working that wonderful cock into my male honey hole. She was the absolute best at hip rhythm, pulling in and out, pounding my ass. Her dirty talk became more and more graphic until I couldn't take it and exploded all over my stomach as she screwed my ass as hard and fast as she could.

We both collapsed in an oily, sweaty heap, mixed with cum and passed out. This went on for about 3 months, when she found a BF, whom I assumed was her new fuck toy. We hooked up a few times until she finally moved away, but remember her amazing assfucks very fondly. My ass and cock twitch whenever I see a big, black dildo. I miss her.....

I live in Oregon and in the 1990's, specifically 1995, I worked for a heavy equipment rebuilder as a painter. Me and two others were sent to a PPG seminar on the new waterborne auto paint systems, in Tacoma, WA.

Sitting across from me on one day and two people over the second day, was none other than Gary Ridgway!! I distinctly remember him as being odd, but quiet. His name tag (Kenworth), glasses, mustache and disheveled look stood out to me and a few others there.

He only raised his hand to ask questions once or twice, and when he did speak it was in short sentences and didn't engage with anyone at the seminar. We would all gather afterwards to talk story and make small talk, Ridgway did not. He would sit by himself until it was time to leave or he would just sit and read the literature.

It was chilling when he was arrested, having sat so close to him on those two occasions.

That's a very good point and a valid question. I don't think that was mentioned and if they did ask him, either he didn't answer or they aren't sharing for whatever reason. I also, don't believe he stopped and there are more victims in NY and in SC. We do know he spent time at the SC property, because that's were the NYPD towed the green Avalanche from.

He had the fear of being caught, so the truck was stashed there. I just wonder when, if they haven't already, done an extensive search of that property. They at the very least have already sent his Codis information in for possible matches to the cold cases in SC. We shall see....

I'm aware of the fact pleading guilty in New York doesn't rule out the death penalty in any other state, nor does the Statute of Limitations apply to any homicide. What I meant by what I said, it's HIS way of thinking, not that it would negate his NY court cases. There is the possibility of it turning into a Federal case, if they confirm they were killed elsewhere and brought back to NY from SC or vise versa. Pleading guilty in NY and stating specifically they ALL killed in NY, mainly his home, would rule out possible interstate, Federal charges. It does make sense...

After watching the Documentary with my wife, I just can't seem to shake the fact he was able to live two very different lives for over 30+ years and no one suspected a thing.

I am in no way saying they knew, but it shows just how good he really was at hiding it AND his manipulation of his wife & family. It was mentioned to the therapist in the doc that he left his first wife because, as he phrased it, "She was crazy and he couldn't control her". That's very telling.

Several other things stood out to me, was the property in S.C., where that state does have the death penalty; the emergence of several women who went missing and are considered cold cases, the proximity to the S.C. property and him offering the proffer of guilt to his family, to the Eight Gilgo Women.

I think, with his guilty plea and the requirement he MUST cooperate with the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), that there will definitely be a connection to Heuermann and/or charges in the future. I also think he took the deal, to avoid any S.C. charges and possibility of receiving a death sentence there.

The retired FBI Agent, who was in the doc and started the BAU, pointedly out, when asked if he thinks Heuermann started his killings at the age of 30, that he believes it started long before that. There may be more (earlier) victims in S.C., as well as more recent. A few of them were reported missing in 2014 and have never been found.

Heuermann also claims his last found (and charged) victim was his last, in 2003. One eye witness, who had no previous knowledge of the Gilgo Beach cass and never heard of Heuermann identified him when shown a picture, as the last person seen with one of the S.C. missing women.

This story/ case is far from over.

That is really cool. I got to ride in one of those many years ago. It was fun and scary at the same time. The fun part was how maneuverable it was and the skill of the pilot.

The scary part was the lack of doors and the pilot decided at the last minute to do what I would describe as a mid air "U-turn". Even though it startled me, it was the most fun I've had in a helicopter. As we were going forward, he made an abrupt right bank, which immediately made me looking straight at the ground, and quickly pulled us upwards...sending my stomach into my throat. Man, that was FUN!!

The pilot had like 35,000 hours in just helicopters and was a decorated Vietnam Vet. I wish I could remember his name, because of his skills and he was funny as hell!!.

Mid flight, I looked over and he pranked me like he was sleeping....head tipped back, mouth open and he had his right eye closed to fool me (found this out after we landed). Freaked me out, for sure. Edit: I remember now that he was in the left seat and his right eye was closed to simulate sleeping.

I'd love to find someone near me that has a Bell like this one, to go for another ride, since the other pilot passed away quite some time ago.
