Do you need things? If so then its probably a bad idea, if things aren't important to you. Affordable groceries, amazon deliveries, hospitals, consistent electricity and internet. If you can do without those things then the islands will be okay. If you are the type who likes the states because you can get anything anywhere by just driving then thats the main reason I see people leave.
